Made a bed rack for my Tepui RTT I bought last week. Cost me about $90 for the metal. Fun project, took me all damn day by myself lol. Can't wait to get the tent mounted and go camping next weekend! Melted a little spot on top of the plastic bed rail when I was tacking it up. Should have put a small piece of sheet metal in there.

Thank you @BearintheWoods! Not my workshop but I'm fortunate to have access 24/7. I'm a crane operator and mechanic, it's my employers shop, but it is badass!

If there were a Brake and a Bridgeport in there I'd AWOL from home as often as I could get away with. You're a lucky man with a terrific employer. I've been fortunate a couple times in my life to have very similar opportunities. Nothing more satisfying than designing and fabricating your own stuff!!

We get snow about once every 10 or 15 years....and it’s deep like 1 to 2 inches!
    Last winter.....
Great I have a TRD OR to get through those massive snow drifts...

I was fortunate in my career where I was in machine shop management at a few shops. I had one machine tied up with a set of Ford 351 Cleveland heads for a solid week changing the rocker arm seat geometry from hydraulic to solid lifter seats. We had several large horizontal boring mills and several guys bored and honed their own blocks after shifts. I used to write programs and make neat stuff like aluminum fork braces for race bikes. I sure miss my days in private industry when I had the shop keys in my pocket all the time. When I got bored on Sundays I would just pop in and draft out ideas.

You could but I think they would be touching, it fits in all the cup holders but the ones in the doors. Here is a picture but I only have one to show.

Thanks @Easthill Bob! Definitely super lucky! We've got a sheet metal brake and a Scotchman Iron worker that will brake up to 1/2" plate. Way cool
