I think in the instructions at the beginning they have you go through the wheel well to get at the two blue clips that hold on the front shroud. You can get at them from the front after you remove the grill. Since your removing the grill anyway seems like a waste of time to undo the wheel well liner to get at them. When you remove the hood latch mechanism make sure the cable to the hood latch remains in place when you flip it over the radiator to get it out of the way, otherwise when you button it all back up you won’t be able to unlatch the hood. If your putting in a smittybilt follow the suggestion to use electrical tape to hold the winch mount nuts in place before you drop the winch in. There is very little room to put them in place after you drop the winch in the pocket. I put an old blanket over the front of the mount once it was installed so as not to scratch it up when your dropping the winch in.

As I recall those are for the bottom front of the inner flare (one each side).

Hey guys, all pictures looks great, I'm going to intal mine in a couple of days and I would like to know if you needed a second person to put the mount in place or you just do it alone, also did you need an additional tool other than the required from the instruction manual for this instal? And last question, how much did you cut the plastic shrouds on each side of the radiator? Thanks!

I didn't have to cut the shrouds. Not sure why but they just folded into place. I would try before you cut to see.

I have the same ones, got them from a vendor in here, someone else already gave you a link. I had a small problem with mine after about 3 months of use and he sent a new set out immediately no questions asked. Real stand up fellow, would recommend doing business with him. The replacement ones I’ve had for almost two years and no issues.

I did it my self. I set up two jack stands where I figured the mount would go under the front bumper, flattened out the cardboard the mount was shipped in and put it on top of the jack stands. It gave me a place to rest the mount on and line it up. It mounts to the three bolts on each side that the removed aluminum extension were attached to. It pretty much slips right on and the bolts are long enough you can give it a little rest on the jack stands while you put the nuts on. I just held it with the bull bar went straight at the truck and it went right on. You can use a fine tooth hack saw to cut the shrouds, but you may not have to. I completely removed mine and put on a SDHQ behind the grill light mount.
