    Hey guys,

I have tried multiple obd2 scanners with different iPhone and android apps without getting a single code. The airbag light is on and i cant get this thing to pass a safety due to it. I tried a hand held scanner from Cnd tire $350 dollar unit that said it could pick up SRS codes but yet nothing on that either. Any input ?

would these wifi/blue tooth OBD2 readers + apps pick up air bag codes?

Slide your seat forward and/or check for something between the seat and the airbag panel.

My airbag light comes if I slide my driver’s seat all the way back. Something to do with the position of the seat in relation to the side airbag panel.

All the usual diesel truck mods- fuel system upgrade, programmer, CAI, intake manifold, j hooked waste gate
Try turning on your key, wiggle/ push on all the wire connectors at the module under the passenger seat. Periodically check the dash to see if the light goes out. Toyota also has a recal on certain year trucks so it might be part of that too

What does that even mean? What is an "airbag panel"?

No. There are no devices that tell the system what position the seat is in.

It sound more like you have a loose connection or a damaged wire harness.

2007. It could be a defective spiral cable in the steering wheel. As stated above there is a recall for that.

Go here: https://www.toyota.com/recall and enter your VIN ( Vehicle Identification Number ).

    My vin is not included.
I am trying to get the code so i can escalate to Corp Toyota without having them pull the code. They had a "booked" rate for assessment of $129.

    My horn is fine,
My seats have been removed on multi accounts, all plugs are double check and triple checked.
The panel below the stereo also is double checked and the air bag ON botton is perfect there as well.

I read there is some one to jump the fuse some place and the code will read out on the dash ? sounds sketchy to me

You need a scanner that can read airbag and body module codes. A simple obd code reader won’t read air bag codes

I had the airbag light come on in my 14. Took it to the dealer and they reset it.

Can’t remember how much it cost but it was fast and simple and hasn’t given me trouble since.

Bluedriver scanner pulled codes on everything .... my front airbag sensor was bad... behind front bumper just below headlight ... look for yellow cable/sensor...
