Sure! I wasn't sure any of the right sized drawer slides in stock at the local hardware stores were strong enough to hold it with just one, so i ordered some heavier duty ones - these ones specifically but there's probably many options and maybe something out there that would work better:
    https://www.cabinetparts.com/p/knape-and-vogt-drawer-slides-side-mount-drawer-slides-KV880514
I painted mine but you don't have to.

To mount it, I used these T-nuts, which fit in the rails, and some 3/8-16 x 3/4" button head bolts to go with. That style head fit under the segments of the drawer slide. I had to drill out the mounting holes to accommodate these bolts.
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009SWGLHW

There's a little bracket that attaches to the slide, i attached it to the ammo box with sheet metal screws, you can see them poking through in the pic, i'm gonna dremel them off. I needed to clear my tonneau cover rail with the box lid so i also made a spacer out of a pvc 1x2 and a few strips of rubber until it was far enough out, and because it was spaced out like that i also made a bumper of similar construction on the bottom of the box to keep it from leaning in, so it stays more or less vertical.
The bracket notches into the drawer slide and i just secured it with a bolt and nut.

The box itself is available a bunch of places on the internet, just search for 25mm ammo box / ammo can. I liked it because it jives with the black plastic of the bed, and it kinda looks like something from aliens. The box opens from two sides, i just rtv sealant-ed the bottom lid shut, and secured the handle for that side with a cotter pin. I painted the handle/latch for the top lid red just to mark it as the right one (my truck is red) and attached a hasp for a padlock, tho someone who really wanted to and had some tools could still unbolt the thing and steal it.

Like i said, it remains to be seen how this mount system holds up over time. I had this idea a while ago and was originally going to mount the box on a hinge, but then i realized that if i just put it on the rails i don't have to make any new holes.

    hope that helps!

I don't have any pics of the back of the box but if people want to see that, i could take some later.

Took advantage of a beautiful sunny day here and gave my girl a much needed bath! Also tried to make my own door pull covers! Lol I don’t want them to get dirty so I took some neoprene and sewed Velcro to it, added some red stitching to match he rest of my interior and viola! There she is! :D I think it looks ok what about you guys? :)1BBB132F-6B5E-4D7D-B77B-B869A1CD451D.jpg71017FC8-42F8-475A-9D84-7FA36F064662.jpg 99F8A3B6-3D60-440F-8987-DE5AE9B9A33C.jpg

Are you running high than stock wattage fog lights?

I replaced my driver side fog light plug today, but I just got a new socket and pins. Mine was damaged/melted from an accident this past fall and was missed by the body shop.

Fortunately, this and the missing rubber bumper on the fender/hood edge are the only issues Ive found after the truck was fixed.

    Also today -

Finally hooked up the Peak DBI dual voltage gauge.

I bit the bullet and finally convinced myself to drill a hole in the dashboard to install it.

I think water is causing it, probably from flying through the puddles on the side of the road.

I had local sign shop put it on.I don’t believe they use any adhesive, this stuff is not permanent...My lack of patience persuaded me to have them apply it. The vinyl wrap was $228 and application was $120.

Thank you very very much. I have tons of ammo cans, plastic and metal. I’ve been thinking of making them swing out, but this slide out looks real slick too! I’m gonna figure something out soon. I have a rear swingout bumper and bed rack, so I’m not climbing in the bed to drag crap out lol.
May do a bedslide one day, who knows hahah

After 7647 pages, I'm a little late to the party so I apologize if this has been covered, but I've noted a member or two here mention that the 6spd transmission in the 2nd gen (at least that's what was mentioned) was updated in 2013 or so? Anyone here able to confirm that? What "changes" were made?

Got myself a littttttle high centered. Two friends pushed the back end back and forth, and that gave me enough traction to continue on my merry way.

It was quite exhilarating having TWO guys pushing my back end. Not for the faint of heart.
Yeah! It's a super steep drop that I've done before, and wanted to see the difference with the new high clearance. I drug skids last time, but this time went a little too slow and I got hung up.
