Don’t think Mat has posted here in that much time. Wonder what’s holding him up. If tune is ready but download manager isn’t. Email the tunes to the people. Let’s :burnrubber:

Because then you can show off. Then make fun of others when they grind theirs when they try.

I do it on my motorcycle all the time but that’s a different beast. I’ve done it a couple times in the taco just for shits. I test drove an fj a couple years ago and you could do it all day in that. Felt natural there.

btw I have a bunch more miles on the test tune. Still working great. I went way up north and waved at Canada and frank. I need to find time to get my passport.

Yeah me too, over 1000km on it now. Throttle fine control and tip in has not gone weird in any way.
Get your passport and come on up  We're putting the final touches on legalizing weed in my province haha :rasta:

@MOC221_ they didn't even get an hour lol

There's this whole chain of people talking about how they've had their shipping info saying processing for 4-6 weeks and basically ignoring the one or two posts that explain this is almost certainly due to the fact that Mat didn't expect dongles to be delayed and so prepared shipping info ahead of time. In addition, it's a Sunday. UPS isn't going to update anything today either lol

I should just quit looking at the alpha thread. It’s such a shit show over there.

Once they finally get dongles it’ll be the next 20 pages of people who can’t figure out how to work it.

Exactly this. It will be so funny to watch people over there squirm trying to figure it out.

Lol I do get that some people aren't technologically inclined and it can be a bit intimidating doing something new for the first time, but those guys in the alpha thread lose sympathy points very rapidly every time I see that they're not simply reading. Not at all. A lot of times the answer is merely 2 or 3 comments above theirs. Smh

Agreed. The early instructions while not overly complicated, were not overly clear eaither. That being siad, it was still pretty easy to get it figured out.

I'm all for helping people with stuff, but the overriding law of forums has always generally been that you need to put in your own effort in order for others to feel like you're worth putting in their own time and effort for. Which is fine with me. Do a little leg work, learn what you can, and then get the rest of the info you need. You'll frustrate a lot of people if you just didn't bother looking for the answer at all or if you didn't read instructions

The read the instructions about as well as they read the thread, not at all.

Plus why try to figure it out yourself when you can just complain about it!

I don't frequent the alpha thread but I thought I saw that they had the 104 tune?

The Auto's got the 104 tune about a week ago. IIRC Matt indicated he was working on a new improved flash manager with extra's and would be releasing the 1.04 M/T when that was ready to roll out.

You would think it would be real easy to pass on the 104 to the manual crowd. o_O

Mat's thought process could also be that with various test tunes circulating for the MT, he has more time to fine tune some stuff. Maybe there's some variable he has yet to tinker with to the point where he is satisfied

Maybe we should take a dose of our own medicine and continue to be patient like we tell the AT guys all the time. It's not like there's another option anyway lol I know this may be annoying to hear from someone not experiencing issues with their truck/tune but continued patience is really the only option right now

I get that but why give a release date and then fail to provide by three weeks? The man consistently promises dates and never delivers which just stirs up the hornet's nest.
