Tacoma.jpg Finally got everything installed. 16x8 Volk TE37's with 265/75 KO2's, 1/4 front spacer and head strong progressive add a leaf. Sits taller than I thought.

Got my rears installed yesterday (sporting clays today :) ) - took longer than I wanted, but that’s because I cleaned up the rear frame and painted, and lightly clear coated the shocks. Had to cut the top nut off the old ones- make sure to have your Diablo carbide tipped sawzall blades, those cheapo HF blades get consumed in less than 10 seconds. Front coil overs and possibly new poly bushings are going in next weekend.

I’ve noted a possible mistake in TRD’s installation bulletin- the bulletin specifies that rear shock lower bolts are to be torqued to 43 ft-lbs, but the service manual specifies 74 ft-lbs (with the wheels on the ground, not in droop), so I recommend using what’s called out in the service manual.

Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
Same as pro, except the 150 is 120

I've had mine on for a month or so and around 1000 miles and the ride has really improved in the last few days. I towed a small trailer through the mountains for 100 miles and then took it wheeling for a day and everything flexed out.

Finally installed mine over the weekend, along with a ECGS bushing and new LF axle (bearing was so bad it wore out the inner CV joint). Also installed a Wheelers 1.5" AAL.

Ride quality is night and day better. Haven't taken measurements yet. This replaced a revtek 3" spacer/block lift installed by the PO (on original shocks, 179k), so I didn't bother with 'before' measuring lol.

Okay so I totally missed the trd pro deal and looking at the Baja kit and anyone explain the difference. Will I get any lift out of installing the Baja kit. Toyota installed a leveling kit already is the Baja kit able to be used in conjunction with the level kit to get my desired final lift ? Thanks everyone

TRD Baja Kit with JBA UCA's 1/2 inch spacer on top, Medium Dakars with BAMF hangars and super bumps all around. 285/75/16 Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT's on graphite TRD faux beadlock wheels. Pro skid powder coated black with Pelfreybilt aluminum mid skid and aluminum gas tank skid.
The Baja kit has a 650lb spring and the pro has a 600lb spring. The Baja stuff is not zinc coated to protect it and the pro is. The pro has sleeves covering the braided lines on the rear. As far as valving I'm not they may be different. I have the Baja kit and thought it was going to be stiff but I don't think it is but it's stiffer than stock for sure. You won't get much lift out of it maybe an inch to an inch and a half depending on what other weight you have. I added quarter inch spacers and I'm going to switch them to half inch spacers for a little more lift. That will put me at about 2 inches up front maybe a little more.

If anyone is still wary about buying these for their truck, I love them on my Pro. Good ride for daily driving, and have good flex wheeling. They work really well when driving through downtown New Orleans, help soak up the bumps and pot holes.
