Alabama thread!

So friday night i drank 10 jack and cokes, 3 crown and cokes, 3 beers, and 2 shots of legit moonshine.

Fast forward to saturday, we went to spring fest. Went into the party tent drank 3.5 liters of beer, 5 shots of fricken liquor, and a jack and coke. Im so fucking hung over it hurts so bad. But when in germany do as the germans do lol.

 

Impressive that you can remember how much and of what you had (unless you have a receipt and then i guese it's not impressive that you can read) do you know how many times you took a leak? That info might restore my astonishment

Ah yea that’s right lol. I used to live over there. Lived in Baumholder and in Merlau. Total of 6 years

 

Receipts and a few good buddies lol. No clue on the leak part lol

whats up with the bouncer tube buggy? Looks like rockwells and other nice goodies.

 

Have you looked at the extended kayak holder that attaches to your hitch? A lot of local guys use em. I just shove my Kilroy in there angled and ratchet it like crazy lol

 

Yeah they look pretty nice, but until i decide to get a 12'er I'll probably continue to use your technique.

10’ old town vapor

 

Get a sit on top, you going to use it for fishing or just paddling?

 

I got mine from Bass Pro. It was around $560. Below is the same one in quicksand. It will match your truck. Lol! I like the sit in due to me not knocking my stuff off and into the water.

 

Also, if you can get something with some built in dry storage. Mine has a little compartment. It’s not big but good for phone, wallet and keys.

 

Both but mostly fishing.

I’ve read pros and cons to both but at 399 this has the best features I’ve found, adjustable foot pegs, an actual seat not sitting on plastic, better width and a higher weight rating.

And the weight rating is a pertinent thing for me, even though I’ve lost close to 20lbs at this point, I’m still sitting at 225. A lot of the 10’ boats in the price range are around 250 and I’ll be at that cap with me and gear. This kayak is 325.


Do you have any other suggestions? I’m honestly curious.

Anddd id like to stay around 400 unless the boat comes with a paddle and life vest, because I have neither and that’s added cost.

 

That’s not a bad kayak. I have a Jackson Kilroy that I got when I was fishing for Leaf in Creek a few years back and love it. Sit in/ hybrid. Ascend makes some good kayaks and will be more comfortable than the vapor BUT you’ll be happy in the vapor regardless

 

If you didn’t mind the extra money feel free makes an excellent 10 ft
