I guess I got pretty lucky. My wife and I have separate accounts. She has her money and I have mine, she pays her part of the bills and I pay mine. We take turns buying groceries or eating out. We've been married over 15 years and never argued over money.

Lucky would be a subjective term. My wife and I dump all our money into a giant "pool" and it gets budgeted to it's various locations, including my money that I do whatever I want with. Still pretty young as we're only 25 and have been married 2 years, but it's working great. Hell, she's how I built my truck up in only 10 months.

So a buddy gave me a heads up about a bedslide sitting in the scrap metal bin of a shop...basically treasure that needed some metal fab work and shortened to fit in my truck. I chopped 6" out of the base and slide and skinnied up the deck to fit between my wheel wells.

Nothing wrong with that. I wasn't meaning anything bad about the way they do things. I was just referring to my situation. If it works great! Truck looks great by the way.

Very true! I forgot to mention in my response that one thing might not work for everyone, and the key is finding what works for you. Thanks for the compliment

Swapped out the serpentine belt this morning. Much easier crawling around from underneath and taking off the skid plate. Realized however that if my arms were about 2” longer It would have been a much easier job!

Drove her to the military vehicle show and then came home and greased all the zerks on the DS's. Then gave her a good bath to wash the winter off.

Plasti dipped the front badge. Now to decide to do the rest, leave them alone, or debadge.
