I didn't do anything wrong. I went from a Total Chaos long travel with 33" tires and 4:88 gears to solid axle and 37" tires and 5:29 gears.
I don't care what anyone says, the LT was more comfortable, better handling and funner than the SAS ever was, period!!!

For real. Unpleasantly gaudy but impressive nonetheless.

Retired the original Toyota Tacoma All Weather Floor Mats and replaced them with the Husky Liners. While the fit may not be as near as perfect as the Weathertechs, at least I have something for the back of the DC. Sorry WT, if you would've made a DC option for the 1st Gen I would've bought em a long time ago. Actually, those Toyota all-weathers really were good with the exception of the driver side. Driver side shredded years ago.

It’s almost always easier and cheaper to just buy the 4wd truck to start. Instead of trying the change out 3/4 of the drive train to add 4wd

Found this diff with the spider gears welded together for sale on Craigslist for $100. What's the point of something like this?

I thought it had something to do with simulating a rear locker. But why the hell would you want to drive with your rear diff. locked 24/7?

It's more for trailerd rigs and people that don't mind the wheel chirp. It is harmless though, can do a mean burnout too haha. Instead of a diff it is permanent locked.

Also the guage I ordered is from SpeedHut, Camelback refunded me when I tried to order from them.
