Forget about the optical joystick thing to take the pictures.

Tap the screen where you want to focus and hold there. As soon as it focuses it will take the picture. Produces the best shots with this phone. Its a little slow to respond so be patient.

OUCH! So you still had to pay the additional $90 for the deductible? I got insurance on mine 2 days ago and feel much better about carrying this thing around. For the first couple weeks, I always left it in my truck or on a table in the house - never had it with me - which defeats its purpose. Now I carry it everywhere knowing I have insurance to back me up.

I just figured this out as well (with the help of Androidforums). Definitely takes great pictures!

I got mine yesterday, and got it set up. This thing is awesome. I like that it will tether to a PC as well. This means that this will be my internet provider after I sell my house, and move into the motorhome.

Incredible > Evo when Sprint doesn't provide a decent signal.

I'm posting from mine as well, but am using it as a tether to my laptop. Did I say that I love this phone?:D

it means, you hook up the phone to the laptop with a USB connection and the phone acts as a modem, thus eliminating the need for a wifi/cable/dsl/dial up connection.

on a 3g network, you are looking at .5-1.5mps, on sprints 4g (wimax) network you can expect 3-6mps. on the future 4g that are LTE styled, they say up to 320megs are possible, but realisticly, unlikely.

i've not heard signal issues to be a problem with sprint. att they suck.

have you seen the evo? i've played on it, the incredible and droid, and the evo kills the others.

Anyone ever order with Wirefly.com? I ordered my wifes Incredible yesterday and called them today to confirm they will not disconnect her other phone until we have the new one in hand and they confirmed my question. Online there were a few issues on complaint sites, but they are just that... No company will ever be perfect.

They had the best price and free activations.
