No serial number records. There should be a decal on the powerhead that says who tested the motor and the date.

About 12 years ago took my son deer hunting on the Canadian border with a friend that owns 400 acres there.



We brought back 4 deer in the sled bed, had room because the food and firewood was gone after 10 days. Didn't have to worry about refrigeration but I spent a whole weekend cutting those 4 bastards up on my deck in 20 degree weather. My fingers still hurt just thinking about it. I've finally figured out if I don't shoot the damn things I don't have to drag them out of the woods or cut them up

Strange to say, as I used to live for deer season. That has changed too over time. But come bird season I'm itching to go watch the dog work. Actually itching to go now!

 

@US Marine , just got done scarfing a porterhouse at the almost world famous Outpost diner.

 

Should be towards the top. May even be on flywheel shroud.

Ya, I haven’t stopped in years, but it’s still pretty much the same.

 

O well, that was long time ago. Things at Mercury have changed alot. I haven't worked in the main plant for 5 years. Now I work in the plant that makes the gears, clutches, propshafts and driveshafts.

I think I found some but the prices are nuts..

 

We do get a discount on things, but I have to go through a dealer. If I want a motor I have to show proof that the boat is registered in my name.
