What's the UCA of choice when running Kings?? Is there a brand that seems to come up more than others? Anybody running the tubular Delta Joint Icons?? Kinda interested in the DJ's because you hear a lot on here about the uniball's squeaking and they seem more finicky, in terms of having to really keep up with cleaning and greasing them.

Coming up on 12k miles on my Icon billet uniball UCAs and never once had to lube anything. It’s actually recommended not to lube them if possible. No regrets. Of course the majority run Total Chaos and King seems to have a partnership with them.

I am running the billet Icon uppers as well but had a defective uniball so I am swapping in the Delta Joints as soon as they arrive. The billet uppers have heim ends and do not require any lube, they also make the upper a-arm adjustable so you can dial in more caster at the alignment shop. My alignment guy let me adjust them while on the machine and we achieved 4.5 degrees of caster, truck tracks nice and straight on the highway at 80.

They also match color scheme wise so I think that is a factor as well.

2nd Genner, but followed up with DSM this morning on this very issue. -EXTs are confirmed an inch longer to match the travel of the springs. They said that the regular ones would work, but if you really flexed them, you could damage/destroy the shock.

No worries, thanks for the info but I won't be doing any crazy articulation with my rig. I will however take out the spacer in my shocks when I rebuild them.

You should be able to adjust it without removing that. And yes you will have to recharge it if you do that. Can you take a pic so we can see what you’re describing?

Could someone point me to the best company to buy 700lb extended kings with adjusters and custom valving? I see the option on filthy motorsports and it's not clear on other sites what you are getting. I'm going to lift the front soon and would also like to know if there is anything else I need aside from the coilovers, UCA's, and ECSG bushing?

Any thoughts on uniballs vs delta joint vs moog ball for someone living in MN?

If your getting adjustors you won’t really need custom valving, as the adjustors will take care of that for you.

Thanks, I haven't looked into these UCA's much but they look great. I seen something in the faq about ordering them unassembled and unpainted. Did you go that route or buy as is? I think painting them king blue would look tits.
