I find interior stuff soothing some how. Always enjoyed taking it apart and putting it back together.

I’ve learned my lesson .....I’m buying a undercover bumper and winch ......

I left yesterday at 640 I left to go to a trail I like to do that’s normally passable by myself I get out there it’s about 45mins away I see the trail I see it’s still covered in ice in some places but seems passable still a little bit of snow too I pass it I make it about 15 mins into the trail and the mud now is getting soupy so I figure alright enough is enough and I turn around start heading back im driving over the snow and ice again and the shell gives away and fall in I couldn’t get free I couldn’t revs couldn’t go forward so I sit in my truck and wait oh by the way I’m in a no service zone so I can’t call any walk it’s about a 5km walk to service it’s about 500 meters to the trail end so I wait it’s about 9:00 at that time

Thank god before I left I told my wife where I was going where I was gonna be directions to send help but I told her I was going to a trail to take pictures, (witch I didn’t ) I was not gonna have service sent her the google map directions and said call Justin to come get me if you don’t here from me by midnight she said no I’ll call at 1130 sure Do that then so

1245 rolls around and her comes justin and my wife to winch me out

I'm just terrified to break shit. It's 30 years old, brittle as hell and hard to find parts for, awful!

I want a front mount receiver tube and a winch on a tray that I can hookup as needed.

I was thinking that too that sits in a hitch and can be transferred from the rear to the front

I have been looking at doing the same. Spend a little bit of extra time in installing the proper wiring and such so when the winch is used in the rear receiver it will not overheat the wires.

Costco website has good prices I think, it comes on the winch tray and such:
    https://m.costco.ca/Champion-5,443....ch-with-Synthetic-Rope.product.100372539.html

This one is cheaper, still has synthetic+snatch block, however it doesn't come on the tray. But a good selling point is it has a wireless remote (Champion is wired):
    https://m.costco.ca/Runva-11XP-S-49...ch-with-Synthetic-Rope.product.100282207.html

Both winches would be bigger than required, but that should never be an issue when needing a winch haha

Anyone interested in a 1988 Supra automatic transmission? Give it to ya for a coffee, and maybe a donut if I have to deliver.

I'll bring another trailer coupler for show and tell. Not as cool as a 5 speed Supra though.

I think it may be cooler..

I still need to do the valve seals and bushings in the rear. It's clunky and will not hesitate to smoke out intersections. It smokes worse now that its manual, it gets pulled into a stronger vacuum more often.

Breaking in the clutch is kind of a pain, the clutch chatter (cheap clutch problems) makes the bushings in the rear make lots of noise, which intern makes for one shaky ass start.

That said, the clutch is aggressive, but not as aggressive as I was expecting. Should break in nicely.
