Spend about 3hrs cleaning, prepping and finally paint my brake calipers. Matched my bbp truck!

 

You could try some 3m scratch remover. If that doesn’t work I’d try a detail shop. They might be able to use a heavy compound and buff them out. Good luck, hope this helps. Let us know how it turns out.

 

Nice looking truck! What’s the make and model of your brush guard? Also, do you have sliders or are they running boards? Sorry for all the questions. Lol

I always find myself looking at the houses in the pictures people post with there trucks. The west coast has so many cookie cutter neighborhoods they all look the same. I see the house and think they must live somewhere close by.

Got my Tires and wheels mounted up. Black Rhino Arsenal wheels 17 x 9.5 with Falken Wildpeak AT3W 265/70/17 Tires. My goal was to keep about a stock height tire for now. My buddy hooked me up with industry pricing on the tires so for now it was well worth the bit of stretch until i do a small lift and go with bigger tires. For now, i'm pretty happy with the look.

No they are actually factory off of a TRD OffRoad. My shop had extras laying around from trucks they worked on and installed them for me.

 

Productive 3 day weekend for me.
Friday:
Installed some Bilstein 5100s on the front by my lonesome.


Saturday:
First cleaning of the year. The super white is like glass right now.



Sunday:
Put on Bilstein 5160s. Shout out to @Rob Daman for his YouTube vids and for answering a question I had during my install via instagram. Love this tacoma community.

The pregnant wife is about fed up with the tacoma though.... next on the list is BHLM. Lets hope I don't have to buy her a new stove.

Very unique compared to most of us and looks great.

 

Anyone on here purchase sliders and mount them to the stock running board holes instead of the frame? If so any regrets or do you not care?
