so they either want to ensure room in case of needed jump start or came in late and parked in line with the car next to them.

Or wanted to be a TW post.

She was standing in front of her truck smoking. Got back in before going in to shop. Not sure she heard me say nice frickin parking. I really wanted to pull up so she could not get in and just wait for her to come out. B7C0EEA4-DF12-481E-AF8D-FDA343139524.jpg58DA35B1-0024-4BEC-94D3-978E8C8E5E0B.jpg

I'd give that car a pass. They have disabled plates. The fact that they took up extra space is excusable because they may NEED to open their door all the way to get in their car.

I have a buddy that lost both legs to an IED that does that so he can get in and out of his car easier.

This car was only occupied by the driver... how much more room do you need?? (and actually he was reducing his room by parking this way)

I don't know the full details and I don't really care about them. But, it's possible the passenger needed the extra door space. I consider those hashed lines part of the disabled parking space; they're welcome to use as much of it as they see fit.
