It has a programming feature like the ScanGauge but I don't think anyone has figured out how to make it read trans temps on a Taco. I don't have an auto anyway. I got it because it has the superior form factor and screen, it also has all standard OBDII pids and some Mode 6 pids built in. The ScanGauge requires you to apparently program most of that yourself but it is capable of reading Taco trans temps (on later models 98-04).

Been noticing a 'clunkiness' and more bumps than normal since yesterday and started to worry maybe I botched something with the rack bushings / tie rod change I completed last week.

On a whim, just now decided to check tire pressure since its been sitting all evening and tires are cold (I had just taken in to the local Costco Tire Center for a balance/rotation a couple of days ago). Damn azzhat tech - front was at 38psi and the rear was at 37! For those curious, I'm riding on 265/70/16 Bridgestone Revo II Duelers. Decent tire and happy with it - just not with 38psi.

I had specifically asked what they usually inflate to on this tire/application and the counter guy said 35. I requested 33psi since that usually produces the best results for me. No wonder I was feeling every bump and hairline crack in the road. That really pisses me off. Now I have to call into question if the tech bothered to balance the tires at all or properly.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: Guess I'll be going to another Costco to have them re-balance. Thx Costco Tech

Anyone know the rear hose that comes from the driver side rear head(valve cover) that comes over to right in front of the Throttle body for an 01-04?

Huh, maybe make sure it's the right number in this guide... The naming for these parts is criptic at best.

Just bought one of these today for $200: https://www.rigidindustries.com/led-lighting/240043

And ordered the rear shocks from ADS with external resi and clicker adjusts. Now do I get custom deaver springs so I can carry my weight or go with Dakar... Kinda thinking Dakar would do just fine eh?

Cheap spacers and blocks, 33's, poor man upgrades.
Saw that website, what’s the difference between the “stock” versus “lifted” shocks? $200 difference is for what’s? Thanks

So do you think the Previa SC would have added even more power? I thought you were saying it makes a couple more psi or something over the standard 2.7 sc.

Went up to AOP in TN this past weekend. Hit some gnarly stuff and got a nice little dent that can be popped out. My muffler bracket came unbolted too so I'm straight piping it for right now. Full send engaged

When turning full lock, left to right, do your tires hit it?

eh wasn't too bad once I had a couple more tools and time. Got it all buttoned up last night. Just have to do the new radiator and tranny cooler, flush the tranny. Then bolt on the new fender, fix the head lights and flare. Add new bumper and get new tires mounted an alignment and Im back in business.
