It was a great season but unless people come back and say "Oh man this new one is all kinds of surprises", I consider the story told. I knew Hopkins was going to die in the last episode. No TV show can afford him for 2 years. Ed won't be back either. Hmmm, might consider it for more Rachel Woods T&A.

I didn't know he was gonna die until the last 15 minutes TBH. Harris said he was coming back

Yea, me too, plot wise.....but I knew they had to off him budget-wise. Harris is expensive too. These guys can get 10M+/- for a movie and I bet this season was a LOT more work than a 2 hour movie.
They could just bring him back to get killed. They also said not to rule out Hopkins in flashback time or they could use his voice to guide Bernard.
It's not written yet....or they're in the process now. Ya'll can see. I may binge it (No HBO and really, I hate binge watching)someday but I'm completely satisfied. Even gave the little nod to the control room from the movie. Good show.

Anybody else watch it last night? A little slow for a first episode but I think it's going to pick up fairly quick. Again with the two time lines this go around

It was a good recap to bring you up to speed again. I think I'm really going to like The Man in Black this season.

I don't know exactly what the "weapon" is, I just figured they were heading to the place where we see all the host bodies in episode 1. I'm assuming that still is the case, but maybe there's something more, like an exit?

I can't help but think that the greater goal here is the eventual replacement of living humanity with host humanity. The "data" collection was originally for marketing, but there's a bigger scheme there as they've been hinting at. And we were already shown that Bernard can pass a DNA scan, so the technology is working as anticipated.

I like that Dolores has captured all those memories. Good on Arnold for building her that way.

Last thing, Talulah Riley was hot af that episode! :bananadance:
