Chase thinks they aren't very good so he does not sell them...Says he sees quite a few failures with them. I had one come apart on me and trash the gearset, trans, and an axle shaft when bits went flying around and locked things up on the highway.

I just want one that isn't electric or air powered or requires a different sized rear end. If I swap the rear, Ford 9" is going in. Or a mutant of that breed.

Spartan. Super easy pins to install compared to the Aussie or Lockright and otherwise exactly the same. I've had one in the back of my 4Runner when it was a daily and one in the back of the Tacoma now to replace the ARB third that was in it. No air supply, o-rings, and valves to have issues with.

FZJ80 axles are 63.5" wms to wms...just saying. :spy:

No Spartan for the Taco rear unfortunately.
And don't expect the guys with 30s who DDs and doesn't plan to run above a 30 to do an Axle swap or that considerable of an amount of fab work  just saying.
80 rear would be cool as shit though, Nick

I always forget the 8.4 requires different lockers, lockright it is then lol.

The hardest part of the FZJ80 axle swap was plasma cutting all the old brackets off the 80 axle. That thing is made to live until the end of times with triple layered brackets. Burning the perches on takes like 5 minutes after you use a 2x4 to set your pinion angle

I need to offload pics and video from RRG this past weekend. I was able to share the Google "album" that has phone video and pics, but the windshield cam has to go to YouTube.
Probably needs some editing, which I never do.

Anyone have any idea of decent AND free editing software that works on Win10?

I do have this already installed on my work PC:

Would like something that will let me tape clips together and overlay music at the least. The software I have already may do this on it's own in fact. :notsure:

Need to dump what I've got off the camera's SD card

Hitfilm 3 is pretty nice. The base version has a "suggested donation" so you can type $0

Edit: Hitfilm 4 Express I believe is the current version we're using. Still free

I normally just upload whatever is filmed to Tubes and go on about my day. Wanting to give 50% effort to what's on my channel for some reason lol
A solid couple hours just from our little RRG run.

@MedlinAround what hardware is needed for the roof rack to mount to the cab? Already have places in the weather strip groove place thing to put in bolts, just not sure of their size.

Also, what did you do with the weather stripping (way you modified them?) and how did you prevent leaks?

    May tackle this project soon-ish

Weather Strip is semi hard to drill the perfect hole out in each location because its rubber and wants to shred some, and has a metal strip that runs through it.
After you drill are ready to insert your bolts, take clear epoxy and put it around the threads then hit some epoxy around the hole again when you get it mounted to help any water from coming through the holes.
