Cool! Thanks for the followup Brett. I can't wait to see the video. These are still #1 on my list for this type of mod so any positive feedback is helpful.

Most definitely! I already support Tacoma Beast as seen here on my T Shirt. LOL

That's me on the right at the 4Wheel Parts grand opening during the hot (and I mean freaking hot) wing eating contest with a another member of the Maryland thread @pdenajim. We had a great time but the wings kicked our ass.

The expression on our faces say it all "Please shoot us and put us out of our misery!"

Jim had 1.5, I had 5 and the winner ate 15 of those demons.

Man!! Thanks awesome hahahahaha I actually just ordered 3 t-shirts from them and that was one of them

That's hilarious though, looks like it was a lot of fun. I would have loved to be apart of that. I LOVE spicy food and wings. 15 Demon wings HOLY SHIT!!! What did the winner get out of it?

The other shirt of theirs I have is the Build A Beast, with the 3 different stages of the Taco. I like that one too.

Yea it was a super fun way to finally meet some of the Maryland thread TW members. Well, the wings were beyond spicy but I think because they were coated in a dry rub too made it even worse. I eat hot foods all the time, and have grown some of the hottest peppers known to man. I am no slouch when it comes to hot foods. These were different though. I think it was the fact that it was a rub. Both Jim and I said the same thing. It burned when we pissed later that day. First time in my life for that to happen. Crazy!

I thought for sure I had it in the bag, The winner was eating them so fast I knew I could never beat him, so I just kept eating one more than everyone else. 1st place was a $100 gift card. I won 2nd place. $50 gift card. I will put it towards something like a high lift jack or maybe some lighting. $50 bucks won't buy much at a 4 wheel parts place.

Not sure $50 was worth the pain! LOL Best part was meeting the other guys! So totally worth the pain.

I was about to say I don't know if $100 was worth the pain honestly hahaha Still bet it was a good time. I wish they would do something like that here and get a few TW members together.

Bet you cant guess what I decided on for lunch today lol you said wings and I was thinking hmmmmm that sounds good.

HAHAHAHAHAHA Yea, wings are a fav of mine for sure. Let me ask you this. Blue Cheese or Ranch? And wet or dry? Skin on, or off. LOL, :threadjacked: Sorry Jeff

You could so organize a meet there. You've got your shit together. Find an event that is happening that involves off roading and then set up a sub meet at the event. It's kind of what we did. There has to be a Texas thread. God knows there are plenty of Texas members. It's what, 22x bigger than Maryland LOL.

Well honestly WET or Dry, Skin on, Bone-in and Boneless. My only major requirement is RANCH ONLY. Blue cheese is F*cking gross man!!

Don't hate me but honestly, my go-to is Boneless and wet lol

Yeah, I'm sure I might be able to organize a little something. To be honest though, for some reason a lot of Texas guys aren't as cool as me :rofl:they are all materialistic when it comes to trucks and major tools. Ive heard there are a few meets around town but are all judgemental if you don't have certain things on your truck. The two Tacoma guys from Houston I have met are both super cool so maybe most of the Taco owners are alright.

Yea! Of course. I am Mr Heat Miser. Mr 105 degrees. Plus I am the Devil you know. I am that guy you see in the winter, when the temps are at like 45, and you say "look at that idiot in shorts and t shirt!"

Blue Cheese has that zing they need. I triple bread my wings, then I mix up some Dave's Insanity Sauce or another equally hot sauce and mix it with maple syrup, honey or molasses or all three and then add some minced onion and garlic and good ol tabasco because I like the vinegar taste too, oh, and butter. But it has to be all equal and not over powering on any ingredient. You can have plenty of heat but it shouldn't cause you to have to drink milk or eat ice cream afterwards or a burning when you piss later. LOL I also dig skinned wings with a dry rub like Old Bay. Or Lemon & Pepper, or something flavorful. Again, not over done. I like chicken so I like to taste the chicken! Those wings we had were terrible in that respect. I can deal with boneless too. Makes it easy. Good on rolls. Now I am starving.

Yea, I am sure you can organise something over there. All the guys on the Maryland thread are basically great or nuts, or both. Makes it fun. A bunch always go camping and off roading, and another guy has a place up in the mountains and they all go up there and shoot weapons and off road all weekend. I plan on making some time for that once I get my lift. You guys could off road out there and literally get lost it is so much room! Here not so much.

    JESUS CHRIST ALL MIGHTY!!!!!

Did you say Daves Insanity sauce.......wtf man lmao No wonder it burned when you pissed. If your use to Daves and those were hot. I would have fallen over and died just from the smell I am sure. I eat Jalapenos fresh like nothing and I love hot Thia food, but that seems little outside my level.

Well, of course you don't use too much. But I usually add about 2 heaping table spoons of Dave's to a large bottle of Crystal to make it really nice and hot and then that is like a table condiment. Those wings were just all hot powder and that's not hot that's just miserable and not very tasty. Yea, jalapenos are good on nachos. Makes it better. Hell, I've even been known to add habanero peppers in very small doses to my frozen margaritas in the last bit of the blend process so it is not incorporated throughout. You want specs of the pepper here and there so like every other drink you get a small piece. It's like icy cold tequila/lime and then a scorpion is biting your tongue. Mmmm Tequila :homer:

I have the exact same issue. Was the solution to open the lights and swamp the plugs that go into the brake light and the turn signal? I believe it was a yellow and red wire but not 100% sure

    Thanks for the tag @RobP62

The 2 red circles, these are the connectors you need to flip inside the tail lights to fix the issue of backward light function. This is according to TacomaBeast and the manufacturer.

The quick fix it to take the plug from the middle connection and move it to the top and move the top connection to the middle. Problem is the middle connection is a little short and you kinda put a strain on the wires doing that. That’s how mine is for the moment and they function like they should now.

Awesome! That helps a lot, thanks.
Now to figure out if the coils are working to solve my radio issue. They flat out might not be in there but won't know until I open it up today after work

If you do this before me, please let me know how it goes. I may not get to mine until this weekend. They said it's very simple.
