You won't know how much they are rubbing until you wheel it.
Street is usually okay but wheeling will really tell you.

Just painted the lower valance black to match the grill. It kept driving me nuts that they decided to go with gray instead of black.

Got around to replacing the spark plugs. Simple, but man, I hate replacing the driver's side plugs...

O yes I know lol. 90% street driving working 60hrs a week makes it tough to get out there. Couple trips planned this summer though with the family nothing to rugged being my daily.

Plan for your rear fenders to rub a lot near the front when stuffed. I had to pull mine of when I went to 285/75/16.
Front was okay after removing the mud flaps and moving to a Pelfreybilt bumper.
Still rubs some on full stuff.

Toyota lost my wheel lock to my Rock Warrior wheels, or so I thought. They had put it in a location that allowed it to be swallowed under the under seat tray. Took me forever to find the part that was rattling and making me crazy.

Upper right corner. The lock is 5” long and will disappear completely under the tray. The tray is removable so not a huge deal to save.

Took the Softopper off and got rid of some of the pollen that was starting to build up in the rear window sills, then took the dog for a walk at a local park.

What did you use to paint it? Looks good. I need that white/black grill. I hate the chrome

Used this rattle can. 3 coats did the job and it came out smooth.

You really rubbed that bad in the rear that you pulled them? I feel like mine barely rubbed at full stuff. IMG_0977.jpgBest flexy shot I could find of me back on 33's

Hell even the 35's only took a little trimming on the stock fenders to get them to clear fine in the rear
    IMG_1510.jpg

As for what have I done to my 2nd gen today, I aired my tires back up after a trip over the weekend, and continued playing with my rock lights. IMG_2239.jpg

Been debating whether or not to try for a month now and pulled the trigger today. Less than $10 total and have an aux port now instead of an FM transmitter! :bananadance:

First time soldering and worked perfectly. Overrides the CD and plays whatever is hooked up to the 3.5mm jack. Took about 2.5 hours total with disassembly and reassembly. If you have even half decent soldering skills it would probably take you 1-1.5 hour. Not a huge fan of the location, but it's hidden so everything looks stock still when unplugged. Wish I had moved it over to the left about half an inch. Maybe I still will but not a big deal as of now.
