    Most Toyota dealers still haven’t ajusted there price for the OEM grilles and some have. This price is just for a local pick up.

    Yea, I also just tried to order a grille last week with that new found part number for these grilles for $170, then they asked for my VIN and then said Toyota wouldn't send them the grill because it didn't match a 2018 Tacoma. They also then said that the 2017 part number is still at $393.xx....where/how are you guys ordering these legit ones for that price and not getting the same response I got about VIN number nonsense?

    There is. We actually bought a few to see the differences between ours and the quality was terrible. It was a different material that seemed thinner, more brittle and overall cheaper, coloring was different, Also the letters you had to individually glue on or screw on and they didn’t include anything and it was a pain in the butt. Also one of them arrived with most of the clips broken.

    I agree with you - You would think as an established company they would understand this. I've ordered CaliRaised products in the past.. However, this greasy sales type turned me off from the company. I'm sure I'm speaking for a lot of people on this forum. Brand image is crucial in todays world. The CaliRaised grill is no different than the "better" $140 ebay grill. They are comparing their grill to the stick on letter grill.
