    You'd notice your wallet getting lighter at an increased rate. ATF has standards if you match them properly there isn't much to go wrong

    Hahaha yeah that would make the most sense. When I get the time I’ll put in some synthetic stuff.

    I put in a brand new OEM filter when I did the swap. Think I’m okay for now or should I replace the filter again?

    You won't need to change it unless you take it off. They're good for a very long time.

    Thought so. Speaking of filters... I really should replace that fuel filter. Still the original one on the truck.

    One thing I wish we had was a cabin air filter. The a/c on this truck has such a distinct smell to it, it's not bad but it has a smell to it. If I had to describe it, it would be 1970's Cadillac interior. Weird - I know. Nice thing about my E320 is it has an activated charcoal filter. When you have the air set to exterior intake and you're driving behind a Diesel truck it stinks in the cabin. You hit the button and the air smells nice and fresh after a couple seconds.

    Fuel filter isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be. I changed mine twice without removing the intake. If you have wobble or ujoint extensions you can do it in about 45mins.

    My friend has this early 80's Mustang GT and he had me replace the battery in it. It had this ingenious battery hold down that wasn't as obtrusive as ours. There was a small wedge that looked like a door stop than you put in between the battery and the bottom of the battery tray. All you did was clamp it down with a bolt and it held the battery in place really well. Wish we had something like that, I always find the clamp getting in the way when working in the general vicinity of the battery.

    I had to modify the TG crossmember where it wraps around the frame horns. The holes only lined up about 80% so had to notch them out. That plus a lot of bfh time got it on, ended up taking me all afternoon but it’s on there good now.

    I agree with making sure it’s as square as possible before putting the bumper on. Really sucks after fighting with it all afternoon only to realize you have to redo it.....ask me how I know

    5vz is on the frame rail under the truck. 2/3RZ is mounted to the engine block under the intake. I like that spot actually it's well protected and the lines are short and well thought out.

    My cruiser is the same way right under the massive 6tube intake manifold where I cannot get to it. This one I don't like as much hah

    I have seen the clamp style battery holders like you are referring to. And they work well with a battery that has a bottom lip like the yellow top pictured. But it doesn't look like it in this case. I can see the stock plastic tray below the battery.

    Yeah I saw the way the battery mounts in the Tacoma. The little plateau in the engine bay isn't completely flat so it wouldn't work.

    That's because it is from an Altezza... Otherwise known as an IS 300 in America. Lexus doesn't exist in Japan so they are just Toyotas there. This is the non airbag base model steering wheel that has been modified.

    The A340 is used in a supra. Can't be that hard, there's paddle shift kits made for them. Just be wiring to the paddle shift mod at that point.

    As far as I know. There are a couple companies that make paddle shift mods and stuff for the a340 too.
