I'm looking at the cb500f for my first bike...60+mpg is way better than what I'm getting in my truck.

I like the look of this, although it is Crosstrek-ish. would look pretty cool with some exterior overland goodies.

My wife is loving the looks of the 2019 rav4s. She wants the adventure one when it comes out. Probably will get one for her towards the end of the year. She's been driving around in a semi beater Elentra and hates it haha

How do you get into that much water yet your shoes and pants are still dry and clean? Me thinks you need to be much more liberal with the thumb throttle...

Hey guys, I have a bunch of F150 stuff for sale if you have friends looking for stuff. OEM headlights, tail lights, mirrors, Weathertech and Husky floor liners, SCT tuner, Sumo Springs, stuff like that. I kept the Rigid lights, they’re going on the new truck once I figure out where to mount them.

That's a slick looking setup. I was thinking of getting a small pop up blind but I thought it would look too out of place and tip off the birds. i have certainly called too frequently if you can't call often. I get the new hunter buzz and get excited when the turkey calls back. I will work on being patient this season. When you say that you call every 10-15 minutes, are you doing a single call or a small series of calls?! I need to work on calling in general. Any suggestions for box/slate calls?

Looks like you're hunting a field edge with decoys which I have done before so that's promising. I typically walk in during the early morning and hoot an owl call a few times to try and locate. Off that response, I will try to find a place to sit and wait a while before listening for the roost down and then start calling.

I think I grossly underestimate their vision.

I have seen plenty of videos with that exact scenario. Luckily I have spent some time deer hunting so I know the importance of staying calm following a shot. God damn they are stupid though and I think it pisses me off more haha.

Drop the truck off this morning for 5k service and some leaf spring silencers/maybe a new leaf pack. The pack went inverted after like 3k miles, but that seems to be normal for taco leaf springs from what I see around here? Even though on every other truck every they stay how they are from the factory for like 100k + miles....Can anyone explain why taco leaf springs are such shit?

Anyways, maybe I'll see if they have the plugs for the howling diff too.

That roll up blind is pretty slick and I use it all the time. Sets up and breaks down in seconds and easily carried.

keep in mind ,when a bird is henned up, no amount of calling will pull him away from the live ones. He'll answer, but he ain't leaving.:goingcrazy:

It’s not that they are shit they use a soft set of mainsprings to keep an okay ride snd utilize the overload spring for any tow/haul most times the level out thing is normal

That's how they're designed. They aren't bad just designed for softer ride over carrying capacity. There's nothing wrong with them.

Edit: fwiw ome dakars are designed the same. Instead of maintaining an arc they are more of a "w" shape.
