What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Question: why do people only do breather relocation on the rear axle and not on the front or the transmission (if it even has one)

 

Front does have one. It is located in the engine bay, up high. The rear is low. That is the reason for the relocate.
Cheap insurance.

 

I was gonna say the same. My 295s barely clear, but they clear. Granted, I'm limiting uptravel by 1" but they're about 1" bigger than 285s, so it's a wash.

Negative, that'll make rubbing worse. More than likely you're rubbing in this area. A fresh razor blade does the trick.

 

The letters are stickers, so you can peel them off. You can use a razor blade scraper and/or goo gone to clear up the glass after.

 

Ah ha! Makes sense. I'll have to get mine off then. Not a fan of how the letters are dab smack in the middle of the window, and always seeing them in the rear view mirror.

LOL! Nope, thank God!

 

New battery. Stock battery failed right when I needed it. Wouldn't start when I was trying to get home, then died within 2 hours of getting home, then totally failed at auto parts store. I have to say the staff at my local Advance Auto were great. Tested the battery, helped me remove and install the new one, even used an OBD thingy to keep my electronics happy while changing the battery. The only glitch was their stupid system wouldn't let me use any discounts (despite the hundred special discount codes they keep sending me). So a big "Thank you" to the local store staff and a big "FU" to Advanced Auto corporate.
I've never seen a battery die that quickly. It went from fully functional to crap in a few hours. Must have blown a cell or something. Stock crap battery anyway.

 

Minimal in the rear, but the 315's definitely run up front of you get any sort of flexy. Until you go LT that is. Now I only rub at bump because I need to delete my core support

 

I'm curious about that house across the street w/the shake shingle siding. It looks like a new house so did they paint that siding to look aged or not treat it & it aged quickly or ? Looks like a new-old Scottish cottage.
