    I didn't realize you have BP-51s. Do you think they're worth 3k?

Fox decided after some coercing to cover half of my rebuild cost and shipping under warranty on my rears. Unfortunately, they don't have adjusters in stock so I'll continue to have a 50% adjustable rear suspension lol.

Total damage $100, supposed to ship back out today. Could be worse I guess. Guess I'm grinding down my shock mount even though that's a terrible fucking idea. May try to just zip tie the hose to the shock or something first.

Had these A.R.E. Overland Truck cap, Cover King Tactical seat covers, OME BP-51 full suspension and dakars, SPC adjustable UCA's, Husky Floor Mats, Mobtown Off-road sliders, Cali Raised light bar and ditch lights and bed stiffeners, mobtown off-road front ifs skid, uniden bearcat CB Amd firestick. Now a super fancy stock truck!
Well as far ARB’s warranty on them yes they are worth it. I had passenger side front replaced once already because it exploded fluid all over the place due to a faulty connection on the fitting connecting the bypass resivor at the shock tube. Had drivers side rear replaced due to similar circumstances but instead of exploding it just wept. ARB had me send in photos and they immediately mailed me new replacements! I didn’t feel like changing them out myself so I took it to a local shop here and they changed them out for me. I emailed ARB the receipt with costs from the shop and in 4 days had a check in the mail covering all costs!! I was pleased with that!
Overall ride quality is nice and comfy especially airing down for trails. The adjustability is easy enough for the rebound and compression and I have found the factory setting to be best. You can tell a difference when you do adjust them too, however it is kinda hard to find that sweet spot for ride comfort. I wish there was more explaining and detailed information for that. As far as 3k I dunno, it’s pushing it pretty good. The rear Dakar’s that they came with started to squeak something awful then I found out there is a grease needle fitting to lube them. Once I did that it was gravy then! I purchased them from OK4WD and have called them several times with questions and they seem to be very knowledgeable with the suspension and the shop guys there are awesome to talk to and super helpful. That’s how I found out about the lube points on the Dakar’s.

Dang I can’t believe you had to coerce FOX. That’s crappy. ARB thought it was my drivers side rear shock mount that caused the issue so I had to email them photos flexing the axel so they could see if the bypass hose fitting hit it or not. Which it was not. Because of their customer service and painless help with my issues I don’t think I’ll ever buy another brand of suspension. But honestly if I did it again I’d go the next model down just because of price!

Ripped off all four mudflaps. Scratches all down both sides 6112’s up front on 3rd notch 5100’s in back with Toytech 1” block Skids & sliders from SOS Concepts I got rid of the 1” block and put on Wheelers 1 1/2” progressive AAL. SPC UCA. Be sure your standing on the drivers side when reading the instructions! I swapped sides so many times that I can swap UCA’s in 15 minutes. I put in the 3/4” spacer to eliminate the Taco Lean, and just got my 4th alignment. Traded the OEM rims for 17” Sport rims and a bora bora 1” spacer. I got my Firestone 285/70/17 MT2’s. Pelfreybilt gas tank skid and hi-lift jack should be here Friday. Looking at bumpers, but I think they will wait for next year. So far I’m happy with my build. I’ve done it all myself, leading to a lot of cussing and frustration, but it’s all mine.
Is this a bad spot to bitch about getting Toyota to align my front end and taking it back to them after a half mile test drive?

    Kokomo Toyota.

I’m in too deep now, but I shouldn’t have ever started down this road.

Then the dealer screwed it up. Normal.
Alignments are hard man. Just take it back there and have them do it again. Ask for the 5-wheel alignment, the one that includes the 4 that roll and the 1 that steers those other 4 :D

You aren't in too deep. You'll thank yourself when you get some dirt on the rig!

I wasted 3 hours on Friday trying to find someone that could press my coil over to put the longer studs in the shock tower for my 3/4” spacer. I ended up going with an Amazon 1/2” spacer that I had bought but thought I wouldn’t be happy with.

I think I live in the worse town ever for mechanics.

The loose nut behind the wheel could also use an alignment.
Surprisingly, I haven’t gotten the “I told you so” from my wife.
It won’t be long though if this keeps happening.

I had that same issue here in western KY when it came to compressing my front coil overs. No one ever heard or seen BP-51s before and didn’t have the right compression too. It turned out to be “I know a guy who knows a guy who’s a mechanic who knows another mechanic and has a shop Somewhere”! Have fun man!

These are the reasons a lot of us do things ourselves. And spend countless hours researching how-to builds on here, youtube, and other sources.

It's a royal pain in the dick, but rewarding when you get a 2 hour project done in 8 because you did it on your own.

That’s how long it originally took me to put it all together the 1st time using the truck to press them. I just didn’t want to repeat that much fun.
