Greetings all! I recently purchased half a new truck (JBA UCAs, 2.5 Kings w/ adjusters mid-travel front and rear -650 lb springs, and Dakar OME leaf packs- EL095R X2). Truck is a 2008 DCSB TRD 4x4 w/ 115K miles. No diff drop will be done and doing away with the sway bar. I'm bending the metal and not doing the reverse UCA bolt install, the truck is old and bending a bit of metal won't hurt at this point. I'm going to try and do a full turn on the coil collar to account for the Taco Lean, is that about what is needed from those that have done the install?

My leafs were replaced by previous owner about two years ago so if you are in CO and need some nearly new stock leafs let me know.

Once I get the install completed I was curious as to what I should be looking at for Camber, Caster and Toe when I get my alignment done. Should I be looking at: 0 Camber, 3.0 Caster, and 0.5 Toe?

Also I do a bit of wheeling and was thinking about the extended brake lines- any suggestions on good brands etc.

Truck is completely stock so this will be a good treat at 115K miles, I know the lift is going to take a toll so was curious of things I should be on the look out for once I have 3 inches of lift on it. Also if there is anything you would suggest that was helpful with your install let me know!!! Thanks!

I’d say go with the extended brake lines, upgrade bumpstops and do a u bolt flip kit. The extended brake lines can be bought through @OCTaco if he still has his friend who makes them. You can get custom lengths made. I have Kong’s and Chevy 63s in the rear. I don’t set it I just take it to get alignments (lifetime thru Firestone for $200) especially with wheeling trips I get one done every few months. Paid for itself after the 3rd one and I’ve had 5 and have another one to get done in the next few weeks. Things to look out for are once you drive it for 100 miles check all the bolts again and tighten if needed. Listen for any squeaks. Before you put them on throw some rubber in between the leafs to hopefully cut down on this. Make sure you lube and oil UCAs if you have he zerk fittings

Thank you, I shot @OCTaco a note to see if he could hook me up with some extended brake lines. I was thinking about the U-Bolt flip, also saw some things on the shackle hangers. Any good spots to pick up a kit for the U-Bolt flip? Also any recommendations on the bump stops, was thinking about picking some up from Wheelers Offroad. I've heard about the firestone lifetime alignments but I heard they can only align to factory alignment so wasn't sure if I was going to be able to get them to get the Caster, camber and Toe correct as I think once its lifted the factory alignment would put it off but if you haven't had any issues I may just do that.

I've got a couple more weeks until everything gets here (on week 4 of 6), getting the shocks from Kings is taking some time with tax season. Thanks again for the suggestions, heading to Moab for memorial day weekend so need to make sure ole blue is ready for the trip.

Most places are good as far as u bolt kits. Relentless, trail gear, ruffstuff. Just depends really

For bumpstops I went with wheelers. They’re big, durable and won’t break the bank. They’ve helped a lot.

For the alignment I have yet to have any issues because they get it close and what you’ve listed is about where they get it to. And yea I’m going to Tennessee for Labor Day so I have some work on Ashlee to do this summer
