Those of you that bought 5 tires, how tight was the fitment underneath the bed? I just got 5 255/85/16s and am wondering what I'm going to run into.

    too many mods to count
It will fit with some modification. I moved my tire carrier bracket assembly rearward to move the tire back towards the rear of the vehicle. It fit after that.

Yeah but I’m sure the KM3’s would be good to go. So many first world problems...

I wonder if putting them in a low psi would help squeeze them in there.

I can’t fit the Toyo Open Country MT under. You could if you were able to bend a bracket under there. Mine has just been in the bed of the truck.

Those look good...I want to go with a 255 wide tire and am now thinking about going with the 75 profile so I can get Cooper STT PRO tires and stick with a C load rating which is substantially lighter than the E's any 80/85 profile come in. Also worried about the power lose with the taller 33" tire vs 32" tire. I currently have 265/70R17 Duratracs on my truck.

I got out with M192 over the weekend. Great guy with a really capable rig. I liked the 255's until I saw a taco on 35's. Anyhow we got into a little mud, but mostly trails with some hillclimbs. I am running DC EC 255's. I have about 2000 miles on them, and they are awesome so far. I haven't even slipped yet. They have met every challenge I've thrown at them. They have $100 off until May 15. Get a set!

Got the OME lift and BFG 255/85/16's mounted up yesterday. I had a 3 hour drive home from the place I got everything installed. Definitely different ride over the stock components, which have 144,000 miles on it.

They are the 16x7's stock toyota's. I bought these back when I lived in Denver. A guy was selling 4 for $50 total. I couldnt pass it up. They have the oval right by the tire stem. Some do, some don't. Hope this helps.

Can't beat that deal. I am thinking of going with steel next time I buy tires. Hope I can find a deal like that!

I'll be going tan though, like this member did. Don't know whose truck it is, but it looks badass with the tan steelies!

Not to plug my site but... I did start a write-up on these exact tires at a site my wife and I started: www.avaoverlander.com

I've only done some mild offroading in Joshua Tree so far and there were no issues. I'll be putting them to the test in the Sierra's soon though.

I did the chalk test and came up with 46 psi up front, and 40 in the back. That being said, I have an aluminum front bumper and synthetic 10k winch, and a V6 so you'll probably be a few pounds less.
