My lake hasn't had Ice on it for a few weeks and the rain has filled it right back up to non-drawdown levels. Just boat and kayaks are sitting about 3' from the water and I probably won't be able to get out till memorial day

 

well who wants to service my diffs and trans case? toyota wants 250 to do it. I am going to have them do a trans flush though right after I upgrade my cooler.

 

I can do those if you buy the fluid or if you want me to grab amsoil i can do that

 

tempting, amsoil would be synthetic no? Send me a ballpark price you want to do the three with amsoil products. Not sure if all the guys switch to a different brand or use all the toyota stuff.

Have you guys lost customers from your bad production lines or is it something that only you really have so they have to deal with it?

 

Not sure to be honest, about the losing customers thing. It's definitely not something only we have. Basically, we buy from a factory who sells to businesses like ours, so our competitors can buy from them as well. To some extent they make a few things specific for us, but a lot that is "open" to everyone else as well. I am assuming that if we are experiencing delays with them, so is everyone else who buys from them... I would think.

 

Unless your competitor is paying them a little extra to fuck your's up

That red cap seems to be the envy of many.

 

Switched to Mobil 1 75-90 .
Plus moved the rear drain plug to the transfer case because it didn' have a magnetic drain plug.
Then replaced the front and rear and engine drain plugs to Dimple Magnetic drainplugs as these are extra strong . You can Google them great Viedo to watch. I think they are in THE USA. I think Kentucky. And they will send you a useul thread guage

Thinking of picking up an rtic 45 cooler for this summer moose on the loose trip but also general usage. We currently have a basic igloo cooler that works ok but for extended periods is not ideal. Anyone have real world experience with them? Worth it? They are like $150 right now which doesn't seem too absurd.

 

I've got a Yeti 65 which is awesome but their pricing is outrageous. Haven't seen one of the Rtic hard coolers up close personally, but from everything I have read they are just as good... if not better... then the Yeti. My Yeti will hold ice (cubes) for 3+ days in 100+ degree heat without draining the water.

Recently we picked up an Rtic 30 Soft Cooler, and I have been pretty impressed with it. Havent really been able to test it, but the build quality seems to be solid.

If I were to buy another big hard cooler, it would probably be the Rtic.

Only reason I didnt get the Rtic hard cooler originally was because it was when they first released and they were backordered for months, and there werent too many reviews... we also had an REI Gift Card, Dividends and a Coupon so our actual out of pocket on the Yeti was about the same as buying the Rtic and we could have it the same day.

Edit--- Think about what you want to put in there though! For two people with food and beer for 2-3 days we can easily fill our 65 Yeti.

 

I have two rtic 65qts and i love them they are really study and have only gotten better

 

Just ordered a bunch of severe gear for @jpereira2 then a whole bunch of other shit I probably dont need YET just cause amsoil is for car guys the way target is for soccer moms

 

I'm also on the fence about picking up a rotomolded cooler. I've got a couple of Coleman coolers (a 3-day and a 5-day) that are good at keeping ice, but they're getting rather in the tooth and aren't what they used to be. Been watching shootout videos and reading reviews for weeks. This is pretty on-point as a summary of everything I've seen/read.

My yeti kept ice for 4 days last summer. That said they no longer support the NRA, don't know if that affects your decisions haha
