Its a win-win for both exchanges and users. Exchanges get a bunch of currency to use how they please and users get the "house coin" for something they couldn't use anyways. Then the exchanges get their house coin back in the fees for other trades.

I hadn't used the app in a long time lol. But I didn't see a way to do it

In other news...if anyone uses myetherwallet be realllyyy careful right now. Nothing wrong with MEW itself but a couple google DNS servers got hijacked and created fake something or another technology I don't understand :)

If you have used MEW in the last ~4 hours, accessing your account using MetaMask or Ledger Nano S or Trezor:

-The only possible issue with hardware wallets is redirection of funds that were sent during the time of attack. There have been no reports of this yet.

-Your account itself, should be fine, since these options don't expose your private key online when signing transactions or accessing your account. Avoid using the MEW website until successful triage has been confirmed.

Its amazing how many people don't understand basic security on the internet. I heard it was giving invalid security certificates as well which people just ignored too.

Shit like this is only going to increase though. More and more money and only basic security is a hackers dream

Definitely interesting. Been looking into it a bit. Apparently this Blue Protocol is also a ERC-20 token who made all those claims in Jan. without any real proof (least from what I saw). They also made their ATH at that time value wise (big spike just that day).

MEW also had their hostile takeover attempt back in Feb. Want to say a bunch of the main team left at that point.

its a shame trezor/ledger are so slow at adding new coins.
