Yeah I'm with ya there. I'm the guy that'd get popped for it immediately as well. If you really want to block the rear plate in a way I've never seen a cop give a fuck about, bicycle racks seem to be immune

I haven't run a front plate in about 9 years; previous vehicle never had the holes drilled for it and I asked them not to drill holes for my truck. My wife's car was already on the lot when we bought it new so I couldn't ask them to not drill the holes. YMMV :anonymous:

Yeah, but i know how you drive.

My front plate is a clip on thing, and sometimes I'll go two months with it behind the back seat.

    This.

It's like when you first buy a car/truck you start seeing them everywhere. Plus I'm the only inferno tacoma in our area that I've seen so far. I'll most likely be moving a little further south to MV in the next few months though.

Im curious how small those mattresses are when they ship. is it something you could rig a vacuum pump for to pack up after camping?

I have a Tuft and Needle which is pretty similar to the Purple I believe. The box they come in is surprisingly tiny, but they said you shouldn't vacuum seal it up once you have already opened it.

I'm in the process of moving all of my stuff into storage right now so actually looked that up yesterday...

Right now i have a $25 fred meyer air mattress that I figured to test for a season. If that works well with the the floorplan then I'll be looking for a permanent solution.
