looks good, thats a nice clean cut

I never have attached my braces to the bedsides :anonymous: they are installed, acting as stiffeners at this point.......I think its a screw that I never did install.

One small self tapping screw. Have to get the right size so you dont go through the other side of the fender flare. But honestly, I didn't screw mine to the bedside, I just pushed it securely to the bedside and tightened down on the two bolts. It's good to go without having to actually attach it to the bedside.

2x tape might do a decent job if you want something. But I haven't seen mine flap without anything securing it to the bracket.

hmm....I may get these from @EddyRRT

I just have a thin rod welded to the frame and inside of the fender, but it's kinda in a bad spot if I go any larger on tires..

Didn't think about doing 2 side tape. Might do that if it ever becomes an issue.

I'm sure he'll whip ya some up lol. This one uses the factory bolts and ends up sitting right behind the fender flare:thumbsup:

so is it close to the...how do I say this...like "edge" of the fender?

as you know I have no flares, but the thin rod I have for bedside support is like directly at the edge of the fender. If I trim the fenders the rod goes away type thing lol

Ahh, I see lol. it lands pretty much at the back edge of the fender flare....Pic for reference haha. Guess it really depends on how much fender you're trimming out.

You can judge it where my U channel molding starts from this 2nd pic also.

I'm glad to see this. I will likely be using the double sided tape method when my HC rear arrives. I took my flares off and threw them out.

Had a good time this weekend on Horsepasture Trails at the Jocassee Gorges. A little over landing never hurt anyone haha.

It was very foggy due to all the rain that we have had but that just made things sloppy. Lol
