That's the exact same combo I'm running. No need for any relays, the 9100 will handle it fine by itself. I have my switch plate located in the same area as yours, I also programmed the trigger to automatically turn on the bar with the high beams, allows me to kill the bar quick if needed. You can turn on or off the trigger super easy right from the switch plate if desired. I have more pics and info on the install here: http://advrider.com/index.php?threa...a-builds-on-to-new-adventures.1274770/page-17

Like yourself I like simple and clean wiring.

    Perfect.

It looks like you put the amber backlights on the S8 on the switch pro. Is that on a separate trigger than the high beams? maybe the same trigger to dim the switchpro panel? I think I'm more inclined to put that on a trigger rather than tying the main led bar to the high beams.

Also... completely unrelated but greatly appreciated... your link to your build solved another riddle for me. I had thought the SSO bumper only came with a 20" cutout, but you have the 30" there, right? So I was thinking I'd get the 30" to scratch teh led bar itch... then sell it when I would get the bumper. Did you have to request that wider cutout special?

The 9100 has two trigger inputs, I have the amber lighting triggered off the headlights and the Bar on the high beam circuit. Any button on the panel can be configured to either trigger easily through the Bluetooth app. You could also program the amber button through the memory function if you want it to come on every time you start the vehicle.

SSO offers both cutout options for the bumper, 20" or 30". Just specify which size your wanting when ordering.

cool, thanks. In my planning with what to put on the 9100, I was struggling coming up with what to put on my last switch (got plans for 7 of 8 on the switch pro). These ambers sound perfect for that last piece.

Real quick, did you buy the wiring harness for the S8 or did you just make your own wiring since you didn’t need a relay? Any input is appreciated

I made up my own, pretty easy since your just running a positive and negative wire from light bar to switch pro.

Did some work last night in the dark. Got the switch plate cable ran through the firewall, up the A-pillar, above the headliner and connected to the switch plate. Also lost my coffee cup while I was working. Found it this morning, after driving around a bit last night and driving to work the morning...

Did you add your "easy" air-only wiring diagram anywhere? thx

So you wired the ignition trigger to the A/C? I follow your wiring for my install and my backlight won’t turn on unless the air on the A/C is actually blowing. Was that what you were going for? Looking for a fuse that’s always hot when the truck is running, anyone else have different fuse they are using for ignition trigger?

I made my own harness. Just three wires running to the light bar from the switch pro. Power for the light bar, ground and power for the amber back lighting.

I also used the A/C fuse. I always run my HVAC on auto, so it's always on. If I turn it off, then the SwitchPro will shut off. If that begins to happen with any frequency, I can reset the switches to 'Battery' so they're always hot. (I think.)

One more question, has any one ran a compressor off the switch pro yet? I’m trying to use the switch pro to command a relay for my ARB but I’m stuck at the pressure switch for the unit. I’m guessing I need to run wire to the pressure switch and then back to the relay..

Anyone have this set up that an share a diagram of how you wired it? I’m just looking to use the compressor for tires, not using the solenoids for lockers.

    Thanks!

I have my single arb compressor hooked to my switch pro. ill have some free time in a couple of days to see how I wired it and let you know if someone doesn't get back to you before me.

You are correct in that you’ll need to still run the relay in between the pressure switch and the SP. I confirmed this both with ARB and with Rob at SP.

@frankie250 May beat me to the diagram but I’ll post later if needed.

9100 is in and running. Currently have 2 switches working, 7 and 8. For some reason switch 8 turns on with my truck every time. It seems to have all the same settings as 7... Anyone have any experince with a switch behaving badly?

Check your ground connection. Are you grounded directly to the battery?

The 9100 is grounded to the battery, the lights on switch 8 are grounded through a bus bar to the battery.

I assume you checked the app, right? there's a way to turn on a switch based on the truck being on, or from the last state (i.e. on or off when you shut the truck down). Maybe switch 8 is coded to turn on when one of hte trigger wires is on?

(sorry if you already checked in the app... I assume you did because you said it has the same settings as switch 7... but maybe you didn't check it through there?).

I did, but don't mind you mentioning it. I'm convinced it's me, but not sure how. Maybe I'll dig to see if there's a factory reset and start from scratch. Maybe just disconnecting it from the power feed will reset it. (think the trigger wires will keep the memory?)
