p.s. looks like another batch of Tech Deck's will be available for shipping in 2 weeks. I'm way happy with mine. sure, the phone kinda gets in the way of seeing the emergency flasher button and the clock, awwwwww.

    http://www.birddawgindustries.com/purchase-1.html

I use mine with a 3" Ram connector and a X-grip to hold my Pixel, and it works great.

Doesn't seem like the OP is interested in making these anymore. If no one does in the next couple months I'll just have to make my own I guess!

Not sure if this is still the 'official' page. Has anyone bought one with a 6-spd manual? I was wondering if my fist would touch the mount while shifting. I assume I couldn't use the center bottom ram mount position (not that I need it).

Does the tech deck have a backing plate or nut and bolt or is it just mounting into the plastic?

it has 2-3 screws into the plastic on both sides. I think they have a heavy duty option with backing plates that requires some dash disassembly.

    yeah, they do... http://www.birddawgindustries.com/tech-deck.html

standard one has 3 screws on each side, the Xtreme-duty one has 2 more screws on the top with a backing plate you epoxy inside the 'ledge' at the bottom of the radio...

I've driven a few 100 miles on dirt roads, with a bunch of washboard, and had no issues with the standard version, but I've not done extreme rock crawling, and my google pixel is very thin and light.

if I remember tomorrow when its daylight, I'll borrow my wife's phone, put it in my X-grip and take a photo with my phone/cam and post it. I've just got one 1" ball on mine, but you can mount up to 3 (2 on top, and 1 below). this uses the balls with the flat two-screw base, NOT the threaded in stud ball.

yes, I have done the mods
For those of you interested, the CB / Ham mic hangers that I made for use with my lostsheep RAM mounts can be gotten here, on Shapeways.

I've been driving around with them for the past couple weeks, and they work great for me. I'm interested in getting feedback from everybody else.

You can get a pair, or driver side and passenger side individually. They bolt in to the bottom two 1/4"-20 holes with 1/2"-long socket cap screws.

As a super bonus, the first person to PM me and ask can have my prototypes! They're squared off rather than the rounded tops, but otherwise the same, and the mic hanger is in the same position.

Why don’t you take your posts for tech deck and make a thread for them somewhere else. This thread is for @Lostsheep mounts. Its pretty tasteless to keep posting another product in here.
I know he hasn’t been very active as of late, but c’mon. Take that shit somewhere else

If someone is actually gonna make these again, add me to the list. I don't wanna go the a-pillar mod route as something to the right of me would be more suiting. Have crickets replaced the OP?

Finished installing mine. Honestly about 2 hours of work using a bandsaw and disc sander to cut and shape the pieces, drill, countersink, tap, paint and install. Came out great. IMG_0211.jpgIMG_0212.jpg IMG_0214.jpgIMG_0215.jpg
