I'm guessing it was deceptively deep. Small puddle.

It's still covered in mud. I gotta wait til new PCM gets here, and then spend a day in swim trunks under it, washing it all out.

I definitely recommend a sprinkler on the end of a hose to try and get the brunt of it out

Yeah a sprinkler under there for a while will help get a lot out. I've never tried it myself but a few people on here have with good results.

After muddy trips I run a sprinkler similar to this https://www.lowes.com/pd/Orbit-3-600-sq-ft-Oscillating-Sled-Lawn-Sprinkler/1000168187 I'll let it run for 10 or so minutes and move it to another area. Mud will fall all over it so make sure the part that turns near where the hose connects isnt fully exposed or it will get mud/rocks in it and jam it causing it to fail. Its worked pretty well for me so far.

This was my first real stuck with my first Taco (Baja Sur salt flat still not sure why my 19 year old self was thinking haha). A couple hours of digging and airing down and she walked right out...

Not a Tacoma stuck but I sunk my old F350 with cabover camper in a serious salt flat in the middle of nowhere. I now avoid salt flats like the plague and will drive an hour out of my way not to cross one.

This was three days of digging and some good luck!

I always thought you know "meh crocs...stay away from them, they stay away from you". Then I started working down there.....holy crap...whole different story. They are pretty much 1500 lb underwater missiles that will make a b-line to anything that splashes....it's wild.
