Looking to buy 2015 Tacoma - Carfax question

This Tacoma is a great deal, but should I be concerned that there is no maintenance information showing up on the carfax? Does that always show up?

A lot of times it does though I have noticed - usually shows oil changes, scheduled maintenance intervals etc. Although maybe since it was a lease it had to be maintained on schedule? Not sure how that works.

 

Could enter the VIN in the owners section on Toyota.com and it’ll tell you if it was serviced at Toyota.

 

That truck looks real nice,just check it out real good before you purchase,and tell them too give you a warranty on it,make it part of the sale.

 

Unless it's done at the dealer I don't think so.

That truck still has the powertrain warranty till 60,000 or 5 years,but ask for a free warranty on the other things,power windows,door locks,radiator,etc.

Most of the 2015 trucks came with the maintenance for 2 years. I said most. maybe not yours

 

I suggest you buy it ASAP. I've seen many new members come on here asking if this or that truck is a good deal, then they come back a few days later saying the truck they asked about was sold.

 

Do not trust carfax. Do a title search and goto toyota dealer site and do a vin search. I have a 93 pickup been in 2 accidents n carfax shows clean title. I personally think car fax is a scam just like those warranties you can buy from 3rd parties.

 

My 99 was wrecked and repaired 3 times, one being a total out and I still had a clean title and carfax was clean
