I did the cmc yesterday. But I still rub in the inner fender. I wanna trim but what can I use to fill the gap?
Here’s a pic of the cmc btw.

I probably didn’t specify on the title. I mean to say I still rub on plastic only.

I’ve only used a heat gun to push the plastic back but for some reason it always comes back out

Might have to get a little more aggressive.

I’ll try to heat it up more, I hope this fixes my issues. Thanks!

Heat gun here too...I heated it up till it was really easy to push it out of the way with a big screwdriver handle, then I used cold water to cool it off as I held the handle in place to make sure it stayed put.

My mistake is I didn’t use the cold water now that I read your post.
Did you also have to trim to bottom of the fender flare? I got the 285/76 so might I have to trim that up as well

Na, I just had to reshape the lower part of the front side of the well. It's a little hard to explain but I didn't have to trim anything. I am running an ICON stage 2 lift with 285/70/17 KO2's as well...just as a reference.
