GA Tacoma Owners BS Thread

Sock could probably make them monochome. Just half to figure a color.

 

Na not a big fan of chrome either lol jk. But what color would u do that in? Gray?

 

Man, I don't know? I have to see stuff to form an opinion. I may play with it on the computer. I was playing with some of Geo's ideas posted a couple of pages over.

Like you, I like sockmonkeys & the "T" one that you proposed originally. I'd like to see it with the squared font. Where did that "T" emblem come from? I'm not familiar with it... like if i didn't see it on this forum I don't know if I'd associate it with Toyota?

 

When the new Tundras came out they started using the T for "toyota trucks".

I wish I could do more than just critique the designs. What kind of software program y'all using? All I have is the MS office suite and Paint but it ain't worth a damn.

 

Ha! That's all I'm using. I copy it into MS paint or MS power point use the different tools of each by copy/pasting between the two. If JAG, Geo, and Sock are reading this they're shaking their head and laughing at me but that's all I have to work with. It just takes me forever...

 

i can put the State shape on the other end to make it not so much the same as the Texas version.

also, as with the Texas version, i offered solid color options.

here's my half-ass attempt on word. i wanted to give the state a darker outline but wasnt working for me. hows the font look?
if someone thinks they can tweak on this go ahead.

 

yes i know i said im not a big fan colored stickers but this kinda changed my mind



just do the GA flag instead of texas


maybe put "Tacoma" or "TacomaWorld.com" underneath?

Sorry guys I have been working out of state for the past week. I am going to be back tomorrow. I really like this idea. If sock has an idea for getting it bigger or whatever that is totally cool.

I think you are right about it need to be a different font. Maybe like a bold gothic font sock.

3 bucks for the sticker a really good deal.

I will really try to go into the shop this week and get a design going to just kick out a little different idea.

No dude. Awesome work!! I don't even have a real design program on my laptop as of now since I just started running snow leopard. I just use GIMP. Corel, signlab, and one other program at my pop's shop.

^^ if anyone could find out the font from the origional design (a few pages back) of the above sticker that'd be awesome. i been searchin all over the web with no luck!

 

Its similar to bold helvetica in ways... but also looks like rounded gothic letters.

 

hang on.....i want to get something straight and stop possible assumptions.

i have not said anything about the pricing of GA Tacoma decals.
there is no firm design yet, so there can be no price.

I was asked about the TX Tacoma's decal pricing and that example was given for a specific size decal. anything beyond that, the price does not apply.
