    I asked my college bound teenage daughter to help me w/ this auto dome light mod by opening/closing the door. She wanted to know what the big deal was & I had to explain the awesomeness of the Ultimate Dome Light. She wondered why I was wasting my time time busting out the heat shrink & heat gun when I can just gently move the dome light switch to the middle. So that's what I did & it worked! She just rolled her eyes at me but deep down I know she will never truly understand the Ultimate Dome Light!

    I've installed maps 2x(v1 then v2) and dome 1x without disconnecting the battery. Guess I'm a pro super installer living on the edge! :rofl: I did make sure the lights were switched off and the door was shut and the lights went off so they shouldnt pull any power during removal/install. Maybe this install was just the super rare time luck was on my side.:D Been running the Ultimate red maps and dome for a couple months now and still love them.
