They are sending out the missing cover and regarding the fitment issue with a softopper, this is what they said, "We are currently working on a drop down plate for those with campers and toppers. Keep an eye out on the website, we are expecting them to go live on the website in 3-4 weeks."

3.8 gallons of water weighs 31 lbs. Add to that the weight of the waterport itself (say 5 lbs) and you're looking at roughly 36 lbs. A 60" Hi-Lift weighs 33 pounds and people run these on the rails all day long without issue to the rail system.

Generally speaking, hi lift mounts extend low enough so the bottom edge is resting on the bed lip, which supports the brunt of the weight.

Generally speaking Hi-Lifts are spaced out on the rail a longer distance (40"??, compared to the 3 bolts in a 9" length putting all the stress on a small section)

Mounted mine just behind the cooler. Had no problems off-road in regard to the rails holding the weight.

Posting this in multiple threads as there are a few floating around for this Waterport:
I'm trying to mount to a PRINSU. Anyone figure out what the track on the bottom is for in particular?
What are the side mounts for other than putting the nozzle holder on?
Have you mounted to a PRINSU?

I can weld and fab and have a couple ideas- just wanna see what's out there.

Received my camo sleeve yesterday. I will stand behind WP as I view a great company as one who takes care of their customers, and does not try to make excuses. Some of us had issues. They listened, and fulfilled. Thank you

Anybody come up with a good solution for the Prinsu yet? I'm still waiting on my Prinsu rack but I'm curious too.

I think I’m gonna use the side threads and fab up an L bracket

I got the metal today, gonna work on it tomorrow and I’ll shoot pics. Looks like they plan for a bottom style slide on mount, thought about using those grooves. My last though was making an L bracket then attaching the triangle mounting plate to that...

I sent Waterport and email as soon as I saw mine didn't come with the sleeve. They replied within 5 mins to confirm address so they could send it to me. A+ customer service. I'm also not worried about the weight on the rail. Worse case, I'll fashion a rubber bumper to keep it taught with the bed side.

My neoprene sleeve came in a day. wow.

Question for you all. i tried this in the driveway tonight. The valve (fill) on the hose side is supposed to turn itself off when the tank is full… meaning turn from perpendicular to parallel with the hose? That doesn’t seem feasible to me. Or I am misunderstanding the “fill valve”.

My other question is the additional adapter that seems to go between the fill valve/quick connect, and the hose itself. Maybe that’s the fill valve. I see a small hole on it… does it release pressure somehow when full?

no labels.... or i'm an idiot.

that said... i did fill it up.. pretty impressed how well it actually worked. Tried amping up with bike pump... works just as well.

Received mine today and installed it right the way! Missing bolts from the package but I found the right one from my tool box.

I just got my waterport. Do you guys notice a tiny leak around the quick connect fitting (plastic part) after it was filled up. It isn't leaking much. Since its leaking a little, I would think air is escaping? Would putting marine goop around it would seal up any leaks?

I'm looking at getting a portable compressor (with possibly a regulator to limit the flow to under 40 psi since max is 50 psi from the watertank youtube video)to connect to it so there is constant pressure as well. I tried the small bike pump and it took awhile to put pressure in there.

Mine was leaking from the Schrader valve. I noticed the core in the valve was loose. Tightened it up and no issues now.
