Deleted the stupid clutch accumulator valve that causes so many problems.

My clutch is lighter, crisper, more precise control of engagement, and best of all no more automatic slipping bull shit and all the sponginess is gone. Thank God I stumbled upon the thread about that over engineered piece of pointless garbage.




Since my clutch system drained itself when I pulled the valve I took the opportunity to weld up a bracket to relocate my clutch reservoir back towards the firewall. This gives me a lot more room to make a plate to place my auxiliary fuse and relay stuff. Hopefully I can get my rats nest wiring cleaned up. Lord knows I hate wiring.

Yeah, so, that thing in Dallas today where 2 cops were shot? Down the street from where I'm working. All I knew was there were wall to wall cop cars when I was leaving for the day. Not a huge fan of this place.

No. It's not. First Wal-Mart I've ever been in that has spray paint and all electronics under lock and key. Not to mention armed security patrolling the store. Hell, the Kroger has a freaking armed guard at the door and another by the registers.

I lived in the Orlando ghetto for a while and things weren't near as bad as all that. A cop did get shot and killed within a mile of my apartment during that time though, and two murder investigations at the gas station spitting distance from my apartment.

I guess the mini ghetto, Oakridge, OBT, Texas and Americana. Not as bad as Pine Hills or over by Paramore. I did actually met some SWAT guys while there though. Fun times. The used my kitchen to have a vantage point for a sharpshooter once. No shots fired but it makes for an interesting story.

 

Yeah screw that I still use nickel anti-seize on my "do not use anti-seize" NGK plugs.

I do agree BOSCH is over rated, always been a big fan of NGK.

They're in there so long, undisturbed, subject to extreme temperatures and pressures I don't care what they say, they need and should get anti-seize. I've pulled far too many no anti-sieze needed plugs that were damn near seized to the threads to believe it's unnecessary.

Nothings worse than doing plugs on Ford Triton heads.

So an elocker axle shaft is 1/2 in longer than a 5 lug axle shaft.......ask me how I know

 

It had best be because you pulled one of each and measure them like we all told you to do.

 

Oh it is but now I have to put everything back together and gain no progress. The ebrake cables are a real PITA. Guess this means im going 6 lug.

I need to fab up a roof rack. I'm most likely going to build 4 gutter mounts and run 2 cross bars with my version of a padded cradle. But, because the rear gutter is only back so far I may make a pivot point that pins into the receiver hitch. Then I'll only have to lift the front of the yak in, lift up and push forward and it will control side to side movement.
