Anybody else with a 2nd gen having problems with their LCA mounts cracking or seperating like mine?

A nice solution if you end up solid mounting...

 

Looks like a 5 lug kit. Becuase upper arm doesnt use that center peice.
Edit probably pick up kit but def not a 1st gen 6 lug kit

 

that is a six lug toyota kit, but NOT a six lug tacoma kit. its likely the one linked below

look at the upper arms. tacomas dont use a cross shaft

 

Its not a 1st gen 5 lug kit.

 

looks like youve done this a few times. at this point the metal is likely fatigued. as such, every repair is going to be more difficult and occur more often. the grain structure of the material has changed and with it the material properties

you might want to grind a bevel into the crack, weld it solid, and plate over the area to reinforce it. if you can tie the overlay into the frame it might prevent this from happening again

 

Probably 5 lug. My truck uses that crossbar

 

LCA mounts are different

i can guarantee this. it wont fit a six lug 96-04 tacoma. so if thats what you have the search continues...

 

Toyota pickup, 5 lug tacoma n nissan hard body pickups have the cross shaft on the uca. If that helps your search

 

look into the kit from solo. $2200 boxed lower heimed, uppers.
you wont find a better price for something new. its probably less than what people ask for a used tc kit too, could be wrong though
