The people above that say they don't rub on the cab mount most likely have stock UCAs. Then the alignment shop maxed there caster. This pushes the tires forward away from cab mount.

People with aftermarket UCAs gain 2* caster but it's added at the top of control arm and actually pushes the tire back a bit since most alignment shop won't need the max lower control arm to achieve recommended caster. You must explain to them to always max out the lca cam bolts either way.

You shoulda went with 255/80/17’s. You wouldn’t have to cut or trim anything and you still get a full 33 inch of wheel under there with zero CMC at all

That tire size doesn't exist here, unfortunately.

Unless you're doing a 6 inch lift no.

The width is the issue and you will hit.

I couldn't even turn without cutting and beating the pinch weld

This is cmc, pinch weld and cutting fender and I still rub with flex

And I'm 0mm offset your -17mm will be even further out causing more rub

I have 285/70/17 with 5100's and 887 coils. I have some issues rubbing. Going to push back the plastic, then do the cab chop soon. Worth the money to prevent any damage in my opinion.

if you have a good alignment tech you should be relatively trouble free in regards to rubbing. the offroad shop i go to in Denver has done my truck and about 1-2 per month for my dealership. they generally use the toytec boss system with SPC UCAs set to the 'E' position and this provides a rub free compliant ride my buddy has the full nitro charger kit with 887s and also has no issues on and off road. YMMV

I’ve been running 888 spring on a 8100 strut for 30k miles now. No problems at all. Gives about 2.75” of lift.

I recently read that 3rd gens have slightly longer shocks so 888 on third gen stuff might be okay, I was cautioned against it for my 2nd gen. :notsure:
