    Quick question, I like the stance this give the truck for rear end shots, will the foam soak up water? I like to park in lakes to camp and diff sits in water for extended periods, even days, when I camp. ;)

    Thanks but not planning on it. Gonna truss it over summer and keep a light foot on the gas when I'm critical situations. I've done some serious shit with it as is and no issues yet :fingerscrossed:

    That is not a critical situation in the sense I was thinking. Like rock crawling with the locker on, I am easy on the gas as not to get bouncing and break things. That pic is in the messing around catagory of drifting/ jumping and the sorts where you don't want abrupt changes in wheel speed. If you're sliding, stay on the gas and keep it sliding, and if airborn, don't stay on the gas and land at the rev limiter, let off and let them freewheel until you land.

    If you play it safe, you won't find the weak points and be able to fix them. I say 5miles down a washboard road to shake things up, retorque everything, and then give her hell somewhere close to home to figure out what needs attention and what is solid

    Good lord the fill port is sooooooooooo convenient. Filling the diff with 4 quarts of gear oil took all of 47 seconds.

    Dynatrac ProRock 60 Rear Axle, that is important enough.
    Definitely not trying to high jack jberry boner worthy stuff here, because I have a small stiffy going right now and I want to do a BBK on my rear end now... But if you are wanting to go to an equivalent of a Dana 60 on the rear end and want something that will pretty much bolt in to the truck with very minor modifications needed, the Dynatrac ProRock 60 is a good starting point. We had my stock axle out and the 60 into the truck in about 8-9 hours and that included stopping to get a brake line bender tool and for lunch.

    @jberry813 on the Currie, for Diff oil changes, how is the process on that since I don't see a rear diff cover? I would assume just a drain and then refill while also being able to inspect the gears using the fill port if needed?

    One major pain in the ass on the Dynatrac is no drain plug, so you have to remove the rear diff cover to drain, redo the red RTV, and then fill through the tiny fill plug using the hand pump.
