Everything went well! All systems working, kicker motor steering link works great, trolls slow as 1.8mph. Main motor is smooth and got me to 48mph which is friggin' fast for this big bastard. Loaded easily but I need to add load guides to the trailer. Power winch is pisser, never had that before, it's like cheating.

 

stock? aftermarket? with tires?

 

Oh I did. Didn't appreciate the fuck you attitude and the finger though. I let the GC know and will reach out to the union and state later. My company now has the option of not warranting that lift.

Sometimes I wonder how our AP department works... I really do.

They have invoices that are sent to them, that I do not see since I am not involved in that part of the process/organization. Comes time the invoice is due, so the factory asks ME what's going on. I ask our AP person, and all of a sudden she has questions on the invoice.

WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You've had the invoice for how long, and you're only asking questions about it now?????????????????????????? I'M FUCKING DONE. Tired of having to answer to shit I have nothing to do with.

Full blown looking for a new job mode is ON. Before I was just casually looking, but with the recent events, and now this shit, it's on like donkey kong.

 

48's fast for anything on the water, really. 50 on the water feels like 80 on the road.

Neat. Sounds like it'll make you lazy, lol. Maybe make sure you're not standing in the water when you flip the switch, though.

 

Hmm, that's funny, I never even thought of that. I was standing in water a foot deep when I winched it up yesterday! Had my rubber boots on, which I don't think would help things.

 

I'm sure it's a sealed switch; otherwise we'd hear all kinds of horror stories about fishermen with standy-up hair

 

Best of luck. Not easy getting into a different school system. Sometimes you have to just sub in a district for a couple years just to get in.

 

After one corroded on me that I ran in the frame rail of my GMC, I made a new one and kept it coiled up in the storage box in the truck.
I only used mine twice a year, so I would uncoil it on the ground, clamp on at the battery end and plug the other end in the winch.
Worked out good for me.

 

I have a set of steel wheels with TPMS sensors and lug nuts and a pile of factory tires that are barely used.

 

Any specific area of the NE?
