That looks like one of those ghey "Trail Boss" trim level Colorados. It isn't a ZR2, easily distinguished by the front bumper.

 

Fuck. I realized last night all I need is a front shackle, limit straps, shock towers and leafs for a 63 swap..... No good can come of this.

I've been seeing tmr customs decals all over the place. I think I'm going to start seriously pricing out the swap.

 

Since you already have the flip your half way there. If you do the ford hangers that will save some money. Other than sourcing the 63’s you should be good.

I know the trail toys guy bought a new pack and removed some leafs and what not.

 

I'm probably going to grab some 4 leaf plus overload from a 3/4 ton in a local scrap yard and keep everything on. I like the 4" lift rear. Fuck, from the looks of it I have the clearance of a high clearance bumper. I just don't trust the allpro leafs anymore. I currently have the rear shackle, flip kit ubolts, bump stops and 12" shocks. I might as well go all the way.

yeah, you should replace the u-bolts when you re do it as they stretch. Not exactly needed but for $60 its worth it (I am replacing mine when I redo my suspension).

You are pretty much there, really just need the front leaf mount and what ever you use to mount your shocks. I do believe you have to weld mounts on the axle as well. I would also suggest longer brake lines.

 

I have Wheeler's extended ss lines. I forget how long they are but I have slack right now on full droop. Ubolt I'll be replacing with 5/8 x 10"

 

your good to go. Yeah, just need to relocated shock mounts, and the most forward spring perch.

When your welding just make sure you have penetration....pretty doesn't mean solid. I know I always second guess myself, but have my brother in law to check stuff for under cut, and what not....Not questioning your welding ability, but know you just got yours, so just assuming your new to it.
