TW vendor deleting customer reviews

Yeah for sure yelp isn't the end all be all, in fact they're a fairly shady company themselves in a lot of ways.

But to their credit they have made efforts to curate obviously fake reviews and more recently they've got better (not perfect but better) at pushing legitimate reviews up and hiding obviously fake reviews (if a new account that hasn't reviewed anything else leaves only ONE glowing review for that dealerships it will NOT be weighted and will still be there but be buried by legit reviews).

But that causes its own problems as sometimes that sweet old lady that absolutely adores the salesman and did in fact have a great experience signs up for yelp to give her input and it doesn't count because she wasn't previously a yelper.

Likewise they do NOT do the same for burrying NEGATIVE reviews from new accounts which makes it easy to fuck over competition. I can create a bot network of fake reviewers and absolutely torch another dealership and there's not much they can do to hide the negative reviews so long as I use enough random/unknown proxies (not already flagged ones like if you use a popular VPN yelp has caught on to that at least)
