May or may not have got my new fridge set aside for me today.. Now I just need to find some time to go down there and pick it up..

 

My favorite time of year is the fall with all the leaves. Mass is absolutely beautiful in the fall. September to November. However, the clean air from the PNW is definitely the best way to go. I love living an hour or less from almost everything: Coast, Mountains, etc. I can have a little everything right where I am located.

 

I love them, they really weren’t hard to install.

I much prefer the look of no side steps but I also need side steps having my truck lifted. These are much more useful and functional than other side steps. These come down nice and low and make entry more natural. So it gave me the best of both. Nice wide full length steps and they just fold away.

I’m very happy with them and so is my wife.

 

That and eastern OR, ID, and SW WA are killer for two wheels or four. I'd love to get out of western WA and live somewhere there down the road.

Totally agree with you. Didn't like the cubby and gas filler area. Plus it's quick and doesn't require any drilling.

 

That do that here, too. ...AND the salt. Depends on how cold it gets and how much snow is expected.

Then I grabbed some one inch x 1/4 bolts and nuts along with some one inch x 1/4 fender washers and some 1/4 lock washers. The magnets are just the cheap set of ten you can get from Home Depot and I glued them on.

I drilled out the pre-made holes to fit the bolts through then fitted the washers and nuts until the nut was just barely threaded on. I had to take off that plastic cap and the bolt in the rail to get the nut and washers to slide past. So once the path was clear I fed the bolts into the rail using the washers to hold it in the rail. Then once it was in place I tightened everything down. Here’s a couple pics that show it a little better. I know they make t-nuts that could take the place of the fender washer and nuts but I am impatient and live beside a Home Depot so I just used what was close.

I have had them on my 2017 since week 2 of ownership. Love them. Wife loves them, she finds it easier to get in the truck than it was with my 1st gen with tube steps.

Install was not difficult, took a little time and a trip to get a good drill bit as mine was an ancient POS.

 

PETA would likely protest on behalf of the bugs.

Ouch. (as I've said before, I'm cheap) I can see it if you're trying to protect your firearms, though.

I was looking for a hard case the other day to replace my M3 (nylon bag) first aid kit. Yeah, Pelican makes some really nice cases, but $150 - $200 for an medium-sized empty plastic box? Found this outfit has some more reasonably priced options:

HF launched a line of cases: They're generally on the small size, but the prices are right for a chunk of plastic.
