Did you actually get the code read? It could’ve been something totally different and you disconnecting the batt might’ve just temporarily cleared the code.

I was wondering this myself, but I was curious if it was Low Altitude, Low Opening.

Forgive my straight-leg ignorance, but wouldn't Low Altitude, Low Opening basically just be a static line jump?

I'm probably as ignorant in these matters as you are, but yeah that sounds about right to me. Maybe the distinction is that it is at the same altitude as a static line jump, but you still pull your own chute. I have no clue.

I'll never be that cool. Probably the same people that get to put their hands in their pockets and flagrantly ignore the grooming standard.

Checked a Bestop off the list of things I’ve been looking at. Pretty nice so far, I like being able to fold it down. Leaks a little in the front corners in a hard/constant rain though so I have to engineer something. Looking into adding some snaps on the back flap and tailgate and cutting a piece of canvas to extend the back so I can leave the tailgate down and camp in the bed.

If you want a little more security in mounting the flap near the cab, get some aluminum flat and some cheap mini c-clamps from HD/Lowe’s and you can clamp the canvas flap between the aluminum flat and Velcro/bedrail. That way for some crazy reason you hit a massive gust a wind one day driving up a mountainside it won’t blow open and become a parachute in a freak accident.

That’s a good idea. I saw where someone on here did something like that. Haven’t made it that far but it’s definately on the list.
