Yea I’m surprised. To be fair it wasn’t city so much as it was town. I took an alternate route from school to avoid highways.

 

Not super worried, but what if someone from a Toyota dealership visited your site and saw a Tacoma they recognized?

I only say this because I have never seen a taco setup exactly like mine (no bragging intended). Do you think they could do anything with something as trivial as an image?

 

I'm not worried. The odds of someone making that connection and then actually caring is probably zero.

 

I had a similar problem with Windows 7. The root cause was due to driver signing. If you do a restart into safe mode (shift + reboot), Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings and you can pick a setting to disable the driving signing. For security you should make it revert for the next system start.

 

Very unlikely they would do anything. I've already had dealerships contact me asking how to buy the tune for multiple trucks. They don't care what Toyota thinks

Having a hard time opening the PCMFLASH software. Says my permission is denied. Ive followed all the directions up to this point and am stuck here. Can anyone help?

 

Make sure all anti virus and windows defender are turned off!

 

I put the dongle in and try to open PCMFLASH manager and this keeps popping up.

Thanks Matt. I disabled WD and and am able to open it now but this is the message im getting. I removed and inserted the dongle several times and same thing. What am i doing wrong?
