No, on days right now. I just got home! I’m starting my 6 day break. Don’t have to be back until Wednesday next week.

Of course! We’ll hammer out details tomorrow. I know John said he’s gonna get there early to secure us a spot, and Kara and I will get there around 6/6:30.

That's a cool schedule. So you're off for 6 but then on for what? 3 weeks, straight? I would either get a lot of shit done or nothing done. Right now, we have to cram so much shit-to-do in on the weekends. Really blows sometimes.

It’s an odd schedule. When I go back, I work for 4 days, and then have 4 more off. Then work 3 and have 4 more off :anonymous:

Fuck Me! What? Are you an Admiral in the Navy?! That's a part time job. However, not to be taken lightly, I honestly do appreciate your service and you know I kid. Our family is full of retired service and active duty first responders.

They’re 12 hour shifts so either 6a-6p or overnight from 6p-6a. It’s actually pretty cool. It’s a 10 week cycle, and in that time I work the same exact amount of hours as someone working M-F, 9-5. Just with wayyy more days off.

In a 2 week period, most people work 10 days (M-F)

    For me, I work 7

Yea, no shit! That's gravy! Unless they ship you off to the Med or somewhere else you can get your ass blown off. Then it is not so gravy!

Dude, we are away from the house no less than 10 hours a day if I magically make the drive to and from work in 1 hour each way. The worst drive time one day, traffic accidents and weather, 2.5 hours. It's only 48 miles one way. A normal work week for us is 50 hours. Add normal drive time, say 3 hours a day. That's a 65 hour week. If you slept for 6 hours that's 95 hours. That leaves 3 hours a day to shit, shower, shave and eat, prep for work. Some days I am here 11 hours. Actually, a lot of days. Add in the time I spend on thos forum every night and I am actually in the red on my sleep LOL.

And in case there are any criminals out there getting any ideas I HAVE A SOPHISTICATED MONITORED ALARM SYSTEM WITH 8 SECURITY CAMERAS AT MY HOUSE TIED TO A CELLULAR SERVICE THAT I CAN PERSONALLY MONITOR 24/7 FROM ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD AND I RECEIVE ALERTS EVEN IF A SQUIRREL WALKS THROUGH MY COMPOUND!

Ok, only 6 cameras but the rest is true.

Man, I would almost kill to have your schedule. That really is nice. It's like every month you take a vaca! Sweet! And good for you. Service men deserve something. I always say tax free pay but.......

Holy crap, you’re a working machine! And that’s one hell of a commute! I thought min me was bad at 25 miles. Worst it’s ever taken me is an hour, which is nothing in comparison.

This that and the other thing.
alright so, my DTRL come on as soon as I turn the truck on (the amber lights closest to the grill) these lights are also my signal lights, and they are also when I wired the LED's off of. when I turn my parking lights on (the amber lights in the outside corner of the grill) my tail lights illuminate and my DTRL lights stay illuminated. when I turn on my head lights, parking lights stay on and obviously my tails stay on as well but my DTRL turn off other then to flash when I signal
